Off the bat this product felt incredibly sturdy and well made. Usually I've found tripods to be heavy and fiddly but this tripod was lightweight and easy to move around, but that didn't take away from its sturdiness or stability.The tripod is also incredibly versatile especially with the metal tray, which you can easily move around to get any position you want. It's also easy to move and isn't stiff like other tripods. The metal tray also does well to hold my laptop. Since laptops are a bit heavy I was worried the weight would drag down the metal tray but it didn't! The tray stayed in the position I put it in and stayed firm and my laptop felt secure on the tray. The tripod also came with an anti-skid leather mat which made my laptop more secure as it didn't slide around the tray. It also came with 2 elastic bands that you can secure your item in so it doesn't slide or fall off.The tripod also is able to be set really high or low which means anyone of any height would be able to comfortably use it. It also decreases to a comfortable level if you're sitting down too.A small downside is the comfort of the metal tray when using the laptop. There is not a lot of space to rest your elbows and such and overtime the metal starts to feel uncomfortable against your arm, so it's not comfortable for long term use with a laptop. But I do believe that can easily be overcome with some sort of cushioning and this problem is really only restricted to laptops/tablet use. But it's perfect to use for projectors and music sheets.The design is quite portable but the metal tray may take up some space. It also isn't suitable for travel use as some tripods are, as the only thing you can attach is the metal tray, which may not make it suitable for filming or travelling with. However, this can easily be used in educational or musical settings and provides a great portable and stable solution to support your equipment.Overall, I do reccomend this tripod if you're looking for a well made and stable tripod to hold heavy equipment. But I don't reccomend if you're looking for a tripod to film with.

This is the best projector tripod you will find. Best value for money.I don’t usually write reviews but this one really deserves a 5-star endorsement.Sturdy and stable, adjustable, convenient, and easy to assemble with durable materials.

Works very well except that the thickest of the support tubes was too big to fit into the intended slot in the tripod. Looks like the wrong fitting for the diameter of the tube because there is no possible way it would fit in. Thankfully assembled well without it as the next widest tube fitted in the tripod and the whole thing was still stable enough. Would definitely buy this again though as it functions well.

Glad we spent a little more on this stand. It’s well thought out and robust. Although we originally bought for the projector I am sure it will come in handy for other uses, particularly laptop and iPad.
