It is quite a good little machine, once you put quality cotton on the reels. What is supplied keeps fraying and breaking, so replace with good quality cotton and get sewing!

This is a small but useful machine. Suitable for small jobs and repairs. I'm happy with this purchase.

I bought this to do small repairs and alterations to my clothes instead of paying a lot to have it done. Came already threaded with the bobbins filled with thread. Sews well for a small machine. Have used it so far to turn a pair of leisure bottoms into sleeping shorts successfully.The only downside is the foot switch is unusable because the cable does not reach the floor.

Ideal if your a first timer with a sewing machine. The only downside is the length of the foot pedal cable, it really is extremely short!!! I had to sit the pedal on top of several large books to actually be able to use it. I know there is a manual button which can be used instead but you really need both hands free to feed the material through the machine and ensure a straight sewing line. Having said that, for the cost, this really is a great little machine.

It's a gutsy little dude, and remember it is only meant for youngsters who want to learn how to sew. Use good cotton and lightweight materials.

I haven’t used the machine yet, it appears lovely and good and is very light. Although the instructions are not thorough and I had to YouTube how to refill the bobbin. There is a retractable metal bobbin pin on the top of the machine, fully extend this and place your standard cotton reel in this. On the hand wheel to the right there is a button in the middle which you press and turn towards you at the same time. When this extends out insert your bobbin onto this and wind thread around this a few times. Holding the thread for tension use the pressure foot to wind the bobbin. When bobbin is full cut the thread, take reel from top and push the spool holder back down, then push the hand wheel button in and turn this away from you.

I wanted a small sewing machine to use outside in the summer.This sewing machine is very compact and under £30, both good points.Unfortunately, both the foot pedal lead and the power lead are very short, making it unusable.I did manage to give it a try (extension lead and books under the foot pedal, wow it was LOUD.The description says good for children to learn to sew, NO, I would not get this for a child.I had to return as it wasn't fit for purpose.
