Egg Slicer for Hard Boiled Eggs, Egg Cutter,Strawberry Slicer for Boiled Eggs/Soft Fruits/Heavy Stainless Steel Wire Egg Slicer

Several times a week I use this lightweight tool to slice a hard boiled egg, place slices on an English muffin or slice of bread, cover with a slice or 2 of Havarti or Colby Jack and toast. Medium eggs fit this tool the best. It simplifies preparation and assembly for a quick, filling, nutritious breakfast. I like to use nutrient dense Mestemacher German whole Rye or Pumpernickel bread (available through Prime). Their thin, dense bread slices @31/2”x61/2” are a perfect fit for the slices of a Medium egg which I then cover with 2 slices of cheese and toast. I used to buy hard boiled eggs from the grocery store but I now use an electric Elite Gourmet Easy Egg Cooker. Other brands are available that accomplish the same purpose. This inexpensive appliance is less expensive in the long run and less hassle than boiling my own. Fit 6 or 7 eggs in the top tray, use the measuring cup to add the amount of water which determines if the eggs will be soft, medium or hard boiled, press the Start button and wait til it beeps and turns itself off. Cook time is dependent on the # of eggs and the desired doneness which is dependent on the amount of water added which is marked on the measuring cup. You don’t have to watch a boiling pot of water and they cook perfectly. Slice egg with this excellent, lightweight, easy to clean tool- assemble bread/egg/cheese, toast and enjoy.

I noticed that my old slicer is not as sharp as it used to be (Traditional, metal one), so I got this, thinking it's brand new so it should be cutting with ease. I used it the first time today (unfortunately the return window just closed) and it did a worse job than my old used one..

This says it will cut strawberries but don't even try. It broke the wires on it. Just use it on hard boiled eggs.
