Good motion sensor lightbulb
I use it in my garage, and it works very good. Sometimes the motion sensor is a little slower than I would like to pick up my movement, but it works good enough that will give it five stars. I was surprised to find a lightbulb that was motion sensor, and I am very happy with this one. I would definitely buy again if needed.

It works, but sometimes it stays lit for a very short time
The lamp works even if it's in an enclosed porch fixture and produces a nice bright light. The only problem is that sometimes it stays on only for a couple of seconds, turns off, then turns on again if one moves. I haven't figured out why this intermittent problem occurs. Overall, the lamp works well enough.

Radar security ...just screw in the bulb
These 2 radar bulbs [this is a 2 -pack] give radar motion detection in a standard light socket by just screwing in the bulb and leaving the switch in the 'on' position. These can go in a closed outdoor fixture as the radar goes through glass. The light is bright white. Used Indoor, the bulb is useful as a motion light for stairways or basement so the light comes on without fumbling in the dark for a switch. The light goes off on its own after about 20 seconds after motion ends. The bulb has a daylight sensor so it does not come on with motion during daylight.

Not very useful
They turn on for only 5 seconds or so, even if you stay within their limited detection range. You have to make a large motion to get it to turn back on. Useless for porch lighting for an example.

Effective but...
This light bulb is great because I have an upturned light shade. It works most times but at random times in the night or early morning, when there is no movement, it switches on. So not very helpful then as I see the light under my bedroom door .

Works
Seems to work fine. A little too sensitive since it goes on without a person around

Motion detection is not great
I tried using these in my daughter’s closet. Her light switch is in a weird place so I thought this could be a solution. I didn’t share with my husband what I had done and he started looking for the electrical short as they came on and off whenever. My daughter complained that in the middle of the night her closet light would flip on for no apparent reason. We switched back to regular lights and we will just deal with the light switch. I should have returned them, but I waited too long.

Effective motion detector bulbs
We had 4 motion detector bulbs in our garage carriage lights. They had almost zero range; you had to almost stand under them for them to come on at night. Boght 3 of these bulbs (2 2-packs) to replace them. 3 of the 4 work excpetionally well with at least a 10' range. I put the one that lacks as much range where is it less important so all in all I'm pleased. If you need the 10' range, these are your exterior motion detector bulbs!
