Kick Ass
Great beginner bike. Fun to put together. Everything worked. Started right up. Runs great. Fun to ride. Bought to ride the trails in the area, now i ride to work and everywhere. Purchase price, shipping (free Amazon) tax, title, license plate, under $2000.00. Insurance is $70.00 a year, not each month. Very happy with the bike. Recently purchased better foot pegs and hand guards also on amazon. Fit perfect and good quality. Five stars. I will ride this bike until the wheels fall off.

Hawk 250
The bike was easy to assemble, definitely, a two-person job if you do not have a bike jack/stand. Shipping was fast. Looking forward to breaking it in. Basic dual sport nice for riding around the farm, and a great substitute for a car that saves on gas.Very happy for the price of this machine.

This bike is junk
I received this bike in October and I’ve ridden it a few times. First problem is the brake light cable snapped on the first ride. Second issue is it’s having battery problems where it will not stay charged what so ever. Third even when I charge the battery to full myself it won’t even electric start at all. Lastly for now I have to kick start it every time I want to ride it but I have to start it like 25 times until it’ll actually idle for me to ride.

How do they do it?
This bike is badass. Not even sure how they do it for the money. After doing some research on the x-pro hawk I found this bike for $20 more. What a smoking deal. The better tires, the updated controls. Mine even came with a usb charging port right on the handlebars. Battery came fully charged and ready to install. No science experiment with the pouring of the acid into the battery. Put it on the charger while assembling and it read 13.8v from the start. The charger was cycling on and off 5 minutes later so it was ready to install. Kind of hard to start the first time. Battery had no trouble cranking and never did seem to slow down. I adjusted the idle screw, then put it on half choke and took it for a spin. After about a mile it was idling fine with choke off. It has a helmet lock, two keys. Locking handlebars and a little tool kit. This bike is way nicer and looks cooler than the x-pro hawk regular. It rode excellent also. Not a hiccup, plenty of power with the stock carb. Its a 250. Definitely not a rocket but You can probably squeeze 10 more mph out of it by doing all the mods but the engine just doesn't have it in it. For me the top speed is plenty and will serve me well. Though i did order a nibbi carb so i can change the jets, i didnt install that yet but plan to soon. The stock carb is just fine though. The person that broke that the brake light cable must have installed it incorrectly, it would be easy to do so.Check everything as you put it together for function. Don't get in a hurry. Took me about 2:45 minutes to get it ready for gas. Getting it out of the box took 10 minutes. Most difficult part is putting on the front tire. I balanced it on a regular car jack and the kickstand and it was a breeze. If you're on the fence just buy it. You will not regret it.
