Dog Training Collar with Remote 3300ft Range Waterproof Rechargeable Electric Collar for Small Medium Large Dogs

I never really write a review but I had to write for this. I have not had this shock collar for a month and it stop working.

Using this as a training collar for our American Foxhound. After using several types, what stands out for this design is the simplicity for the control. The collar included two different size length prongs, which is a nice feature. I'd recommend the shorter length for short-hair dogs and the other for longer-hair dogs. I really liked that it included a US 120V outlet adapter with 5V USB type-A port and a USB-A to two USB-C cable. The cable itself wasn't very long, but charging the controller and collar at the same time is ideal. We've not had good luck with this style collar strap - over time the plastic buckle prongs can snap and the fabric will catch or fray. So far this hasn't happened with this unit.

We like that this collar is rechargeable with a type C charger (included) and the remote is able to be recharged the same way as well. The dual prong option is great for when the dog gets groomed and the device seems to work as described. Did not test the shock capability on the dog but it does function. The collar seems durable but it would be nice if it were a little bit softer.

This shock collar does what it’s supposed to, although I don’t use the shock function on my dogs. All I need is the vibration and sound and that works well enough to disrupt bad behavior and give me an opportunity to correct them. I did test the shock option on myself though and it does work. It gives a nice shock but doesn’t really hurt, so it will work well if you need to use shock on your dog. I just won’t do that.The only thing I didn’t like about it was the collar. It’s very stiff and uncomfortable and my dog doesn’t seem to like it at all. She scratches at it constantly. Other devices have removable collars so you can us it with any collar that will fit. This one doesn’t. The collar is bolted on, so you will have to cut it off if you want to use it with another collar, which of course destroys the collar that came with it. If you ended up needing to put the original one back on again, you wouldn’t be able to. I wish they would have made it removable in the first place.So, the collar works, but I’ve tried better ones.

Since my pet is small in size I was hoping to start potty training him but my plan was only to use the vibration feature, not the shocking one. Sucks that the vibration level barely reaches level 10 (which isn't much higher than the vibration of a phones) But I did find it odd that the shocking feature level reaches well over 100. Mind you we tried it out on ourselves (3 adults) and we were able to handle only up to a level 9 shock... and it is capable of reaching a level OVER 100.

My 34lb cocker spaniel can be a bit of a barker. I was looking for a training collar to curtail that barking through the use of sound. He doesn't like beeps, and this system performs better than expected. I did try the vibration mode and that worked equally well, but was more than our pup needed to correct his behavior. I did not try the shock feature as that's not something I'm interested in using. All in all, this training collar is worthy of your consideration.

Both the collar, and the remote, are chargeable. It even comes with a dual ended type C charger, so you can charge them both at the same time. It comes with two different size prongs, depending on how long your dog's hair is. It comes with the tool to tighten them up or take them off. It comes with a charging brick. It has 10 different levels for the shocking feature. It has a vibrating feature, and it has the beeping. I had one many years ago and this one just works different. I'm hoping to use it to break a couple bad habits my dog currently has. When I used one years ago, it worked very well, and it worked very quickly.
