The rubber leaves were falling off of our garbage disposal splash guard, so when we turned it on, we had to put something over it or get splashed. Ordered these, they are easy to install and fit perfectly, now when the garbage disposal is turned on, nothing splashes out. If you have a garbage disposal with a worn splash guard, you should order these as soon as possible, it makes life a lot easier, than getting dressed for work and forgetting to cover the drain before turning on the disposal, and having to change clothes.

Fits well and easy replacement.

We are really happy we found this product. Our 8-year old disposal is still going strong but its splash guard had gotten torn a little through normal use. We had no idea you could replace these, but recently we sort of just accidentally realized these were replaceable and that opened our eyes to the fact that we didn't have to live with a torn splash guard.Installation is super quick and easy, no tools required. The Mrs. changed it out before I could offer to help, which his just great!! This product looks good, works great and was an exact fit replacement. A+

The design of these is nearly perfect. Hold up and protect against spitting from the disposal, they have appropriate venting to allow water in, while allowing enough air to not cause the water to pool, but the material they are made of is very flimsy and thin. This may be needed for the design to work as intended, an open mouth to allow all caught items to drop, but it won't stop anything slightly heavy from entering the garbage disposal. I.e: Jewelry, silverware, a child's hand. A little bit thicker material, a little more resistance and this would be the perfect garbage disposal cover.

If you are here reading the reviews on these, you need to grab a set. If you are unsure, remove your current one and take a quick look at it, then you will know it needs replaced. I'm actually glad I got a pair, as I'll now replace them more regularly.That said, this set is very well made, and works perfectly IF your disposal has the 3-3/8" opening. Measure first, then buy the CORRECT size. Some disposals are smaller, 3-1/8" vs these, which are 3-3/8". That 1/4" difference you need to know beforehand or you will be here writing a negative review that they did not fit because YOU bought the wrong size.Would I buy another set of these? You bet!Well done!!

These splash guards work pretty well. The fit is good and they do the job, but the material is really thin. they are pretty flimsy and I can see them being cut, or torn, pretty easily. While not the end of the workd, I would probably recommend looking elsewhere.

They design of the baffles on this splash guard are superior to the oem insinkerator one it's replacing, but the rubber collar the fit's into the indent and creates the seal isn't as thick or stiff as the oem. So far so good, no leaking issues, but I don't see it lasting as long - that being said, it's not a very expensive item and it only takes two minutes to replace if\when needed and as stated earlier - the baffles work MUCH better at actually allowing water and food debris to drain through down into the disposal.

Fit my standard sink disposal opening, and does what its supposed to.- It fits snugly, but not so much so that you can't take it back out to clean, or have to reach further into the disposal to retrieve something.- I like that its the "spring loaded" style where you'd have to push food down into it and it opens easily - I feel like this helps stop things from falling down in there that you'd have to dig out before running the disposal (or maybe that's just a feeling, haha)If you need a new one of these. . . . go for it!
