Chunkier than expected
I was surprised when I opened the package, at just how big it is. The bezel adds a full 1/4 inch on all sides of the phone (for a total width of around 3.75” not including buttons, and a height of around 6.3”). Which I’m sure will be great for shock protection, but seems a little excessive. I’m upgrading from an iphone 8 with a more basic case, and I’m wondering if I’ll be able to get used to this thing riding around in my pocket. The thickness of the case is not quite as bad, clocking in at a total thickness of just over 1/2”.The membranes used to protect the speakers, microphones, and mute switch I’m sure will be the weak points of this case. The membrane for the mute switch, in particular, I see failing prematurely from using my fingernail to flip the switch.I’m not really interested in or expecting 100% waterproof protection, since the phone is already equipped with some moisture resistance. But I think that while new, this case would hold up just fine for an unplanned dip in a pool or whatever. Overall it appears to be constructed well. Compared to the LifeProof case I had some years ago, I would tentatively rate it as a similar product in design and construction.I’m going to see how everything holds up, and update this review as necessary.Update #1: two or three days of using it, and I’m beginning to adapt to the size. However, my wife says I sound muffled/“under water” when speaking into the phone. The issue is improved dramatically when I open the flap to the lightning port (charging plug). Kind of a pain, but a simple enough workaround. I don’t think the lifeproof cases cause that much attenuation, but at one third the price I’m not going to fault this case for not quite stacking up. My review stands at 4 stars for now.

Great
It does it’s job very well. The only issue is once you put it one the phone it kills the volume of your phone

If I could return this I would, but it’s now at the bottom of a river
DO. NOT. BUY.Why? Good question! Here’s my two big reasons:1. The case not only messes with the speaker sound quality, it generated this really odd screeching tone whenever I tried to actually use my phone to talk. Problem went away the second I took this case off.2. True, it’s waterproof - I did some test shots in a pool and it worked great, but the bundled wrist strap is utter trash. The cord snapped and now, as a result, the phone is protected (I guess), but sitting at the bottom of a river. So, don’t be a dummy me. Use your own wrist strap if you buy this. And don’t mind screeches on your phone calls.

Great quality
I used this product for my personal use. I like it because my screen protector fits in there as well. Others didn’t.
