The pads the league gave my son caused a lot of discomfort and were unusually heavy. Whenever he would put on or take off the league issued pads it looked like his head was going to pop off because it wasn’t adjustable around the neck. The league ran out of pads so I did some research and saw these were highly recommended. I thought it was going to be the same situation with the new pads as with his old pads, but I was Wrong! The pads are light weight, easy for him to put on and off, and most importantly they don’t cause him discomfort. For the price these pads far exceeded my expectations! Definitely recommend!

My son needed shoulder pads for this new season. Shoulder pads are only sold in a couple sport stores here in Hawaii, but they'd be ridiculously expensive. I found this & did some research on brand/item details & this made the cut. My son LOVES his new gear. It not only looks good, but it does its job when it comes to protection. This the REAL DEAL!!!

Pay attention to the sizing that is very important. We ordered one that we thought would fit and had to return it for a larger size. Other than that, great quality and great endurance. Not too bulky, but still protects my son who plays rec football.

Easiest football pads. My son always gives me a hard time fighting them on his chest, and these the chest is one piece.

The pads were good and had great cushions felt like I didn't have it on after 15mins

I made sure to get my son's measurements and placed the order the pads came and they fit perfect. He plays wide receiver and defensive corner. He said he has 100 percent more movement than the pads the youth league provides and feels far more comfortable. I added a back plate for extra protection and they are still light as a feather . would recommend for other youth players receivers , defense backs or running back.
