FerplastHamster Gerbil Cube

My Hammie had decided his tubes were for sleeping in, so decided to get these so he’d have something more substantial to snuggle in.Absolutely perfect. Really nicely made and easy to clean. The different connectors mean I can switch the cage up a bit to make it more interesting. Would recommend. My hamster’s a 3 month old Syrian and he’s fitting in nicely.

Gerbils love them, they love digging in them and love running through them to get to their different cages, whether they are vertical or horizontal and sometimes they're happy to just sit in them

I bought these because my hamster Wotsit, decided to live in the tubing attached to his ferplast cage, it was hard to clean him out and he was always a bit ruffled looking because there isn’t much room for a Syrian hamster in a tube! I thought these cubes would be the ideal thing, however, Wotsit soon discovered that he could easily push open the lids of the cubes and depart for pastures new, which is why there are weights on them in the photo!He was quite happy to move into the cube instead of the tube but after a couple of days I noticed a build up of condensation in the cube and his bedding was quite damp. I drilled a lot of small holes into them but the condensation problem persisted so I decided that they were causing more problems than they were solving and took them away.Wotsit is now happily sleeping in a Pukka tea box in his cage, it doesn’t cause any condensation and when it gets a bit manky I just give him a new one. Happy hamster and happy human!

Hamster likes these. We attach them to tubes inside the cage and even bury them in the wood chips.

Hampsters seem to like these, as with use, the connection becomes loose, and the slightest knock will dislodge the cube from ferplast tunnel, enabling them to escape!

Nice quality. Don't really use the cubes much. Just brought it for the end caps to block of tunnels with. Does what I want it to do well.

Hamster just chews at the inside of the rings, so eventually they fall off. Huge design flaw.

We purchased this set for our Syrian hamster. He loves them and relocated his home to one. They are durable and have a removable side for easy cleaning. The only drawback is that our hamster was able to pop the side open and could have escaped had we not heard it. We use a bit of tape on two sides to secure the lid between cleanings. The cubes are also a bit heavier and one needs to be careful to use a configuration that ensures that the tubes will not pull away from the cage.

Le due nella confezione le ho collegate sovrapposte con un tubo a U.Pensavo che il criceto avesse problemi ed invece sale e scende senza problemi.Con un po' di segatura dentro si ferma anche per un riposino in veranda!La gabbia principale Ferplast ora è collegata con tubi e scatolette alla palestrina con la ruota.Il criceto va avanti e indietro che è un piacere.

Meine Mäuse lieben sie. Je nach Einbauvariante als geheimen Schlafplatz, Futterkiste oder als separates Mäuseklo. Läßt sich super reinigen. Der Knabberschutz innen lässt sich nur schwer montieren oder demontieren. Wenn man den Kniff raus hat geht es einfacher.

this was hard to find in the US so had to order from the UK. It fits the cage and am happy to extend the cage and give hammy some more room but it's very small. She doesn't sleep in it and I think it will only be useful to add another tube and another box.
