Two Frogs! One Pig! Intrigue! Music! Mayhem! Muppets! There’s plenty of fun for the whole family as Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Animal and the entire Muppets gang head out on a world tour. But mayhem follows the Muppets, as they find themselves unwittingly entangled in an international crime caper. Now Kermit is behind bars at the mercy of prison warden Nadya (Tina Fey), and the World’s Number One Criminal, Constantine—a dead ringer for Kermit—has taken his place. As Constantine and his dastardly sidekick Dominic (Ricky Gervais) plot the robbery of the century, they are pursued by Sam Eagle and Interpol agent Jean Pierre Napoleon (Ty Burrell). Will Constantine get away with his nefarious scheme? Will Kermit escape in time to save the day? Disney’s Muppets Most Wanted is the most hilarious, most wanted Muppet movie ever! Not as good as the first, but still worth 5 stars!
"We're doing a sequel, And everybody knows that the sequel's are never quite as good" - or so the song goes.In short its the Muppets and therefore I enjoyed it. The usual slapstick comedy and making fun of themselves are all the characteristic rage in this film. For example, the joke about European cars, and how guilty he felt driving that "spacious" car of his had me in stitches for ages. Otherwise, an extremely simple plot line:- Evil frog escapes prison- Evil frog switches place with Kermit and sends him to prison in his place- Evil frog tries to become one of the gang- The gang go on a World Tour during which evil frog commits crimes- Evil frog proposes to Piggy- Kermit is freed- Kermit stops the wedding and stops the Evil frog.Nothing unusual and nothing we haven't seen before as a basic plot line in numerous other films. So what made this film good? For me the Muppets are all about the Cameos and in this film there is no shortage. From Celine Dion and Salma Hayek to Danny Trejo. Seeing tough guy Danny Trejo dance, prance and sing was worth my money alone. As he says, he's a "triple threat- a singer, dancer, and murderer".I bought this movie off of Amazon Instant play in HD. I watched it on my iPad and honesty couldn't for certain say whether it was in fact displaying in HD. At about half way the film stopped to buffer, and at around 3 quarters in it froze completely. All I had to do was come out the film and resume it and off we went again without issue. It is possible that on both accounts the issue is unrelated to Amazon and is solely due to my internet connection.Overall, a good clean and family friendly film. Great to see the return of Walter from the last movie.

A bit of fun
"The sequels never quite as good" sings Kermit in the opening song and it's hard to argue with him. This isn't as good as the excellent previous Muppets film but it's not at all bad and still has enough going for it to make it worth a watch at least. It's got a suitably absurd plot this time out - a Kermit lookalike master criminal infiltrates the Muppets clan in order to take them on a world tour and eventually steal The Crown Jewels from The Tower of London. All the gang are present and correct as you'd expect, there's a whole host of brief celebrity cameos as well as more sizeable roles for Ricky Gervais, Tina Fey and Ty Burrell. It's the same kind of anarchic fun you'd expect from a Muppets flick - spoof like gags and spontaneous songs which mostly hit the mark but it doesn't have quite the same inventiveness and freshness of this mob at their best. So overall it's still amiable and hard to dislike, making for an enjoyable ride.

Daddy’s Little Girl Loved It & So Did Daddy !
My little girl loved this film, as she did the first “new” Muppets Movie. The fact that a 6 year old can sit with Daddy and be enthralled by a movie in the same way that I sat enthralled when the Muppets were on when I was a child says it all really. Excellent

Great storyline - great action Baddies + all the usual characters - it's the MUPPETS right upto date - what more could you want
As a Muppets fan since the very beginning I've been waiting to get this to add to my collection. This film is a totally fresh style & modern take for the Muppets - great viewing for Adults & children alike.Even though I personally can't stand Ricky Gervais this film is thoroughly engrossing & entertainng.Although almost all the original team who performed & voiced the characters have now passed on - they have managed a very good imitation of the original character voices. The sets & effects are brilliantly done - and it's good to see that they have stuck to the same method of the puppet movements - no unneccessary fancy CGI.Whatever your age you will enjoy this movie

Erase from memory
Oh dear.I sat through the last Muppet Movie because a) I had happy memories of the The Muppet Show as a kid and b) because my good lady wanted to see it.It was...OK...at best. And so we watched Most Wanted too...again, because she wanted to see it.We both found it to be pretty rubbish to be honest.Nothing new, same old "doppleganger" story line that the characters need to be utterly blind to fall for...and some seriously embarrassing cameos and songs. Made me cringe.I actually felt embarrassed for a few of them on there...Ray Liotta, badly acting, singing appallingly and hamming it up to a degree that I almost wanted to switch off.Ray Liotta for goodness sake!! Poor man. Either he's utterly skint or did it as a dare.Bad, sad and generally not worth even one star - and completely unfunny. In fact, the only funny part of the whole film is the gag reel/bloopers on the extras.I'm clearly in the minority, so I'll shut up. But I think you need to be a seriously fanatical Muppet fan to even slightly enjoy this film. I think I'll leave my happy memories of The Muppets back in the 80s.And if there's another film and my good lady wants to see it...I think I'll take the option of a divorce rather than sit through another film.
