Stirring music
Taha is getting on a bit, and is now in the singing at birthday parties part of his career by the looks of it. This is an old DVD recommended by a Moroccan carpet seller no less. It was a revelation! Chunky exciting riffs in one tune, with Oriental sounds from Zithers, reed flutes and a host of unpronouncable instruments. A very varied and extremely energetic collection guaranteed to gett any Middle Eastern party going. Stodgy Eurocentric types may struggle with the exotic nature of this Algerian pop, but its a super CD. Try the first three songs on MP3 with Amazon, they are the best and will get you moving!

Four Stars
Seemed popular with our teenager, who normally prefers Arabic dubstep etc, so I guess it must be OK!.
