A cluster of Swarovski crystal beads, Swarovski crystal pearls, sodalite beads and blue quartz beads surround the pendant. The rest of the necklace is made with the same colors of Swarovski crystal beads and pearls, sodalite beads, blue quartz chips and blue and white Asian porcelain beads. The necklace measures 18 inches long with a 3 inch handmade beaded extender. I use only the finest 49 strand beading wire and finish each strand with silver plated wire guards. A detail of Katsushika Hokusai’s world famous wood block print Under the Wave off Kanagawa, also known as The Great Wave, is set in a 30mm (a bit over an inch) round silver plated pendant setting, and sealed with a clear glass cabochon, finished with a fine silver chain around the bezel. The back of the pendant is decorated with white sand and Swarovski rhinestones. The image is crisp and clear and printed on premium photo paper.
