A pencil for lifew
First rate product. I use Rotring, Staedler and Kohinoor, all of them top class if you pick the right model. Of these Kohinoor is fast becoming my favourite. I use pencils more or less all day.

Very solid
This feels like a really well-built pencil, it's quite heavy. The sharpener in the cap isn't particularly effective, I found using a small diameter sharpener worked much better (Swordfish 'the triple' is a good choice). For an artist or for general sketches I think you'd find this very useful.

The Best Pencil I Own
Just one of several KOH-I-NOOR pencils I own, and probably my favourite! These things are invariably built like a tank, and they're exceptionally good value for money. This model has a metal barrel with a hard plastic coating, and a metal clutch and cap. You could literally run over it in your car and not break it.The pencil comes supplied with one high quality HB grade lead inside, which should last you quite a while as it's a chunky 5.6mm thick. Spares can of course be purchased, and of differing hardness depending on the task you wish to use it for. Mine is used in my workshop and far handier than the traditional wooden carpenters pencil if you ask me. No more wood shavings or blunt ends, and the clip keeps it fastened to my pocket. To sharpen the lead, remove the cap, place over the tip and rotate back and forth a few times - the hidden blades will produce a wonderfully sharp point.I like this pencil a great deal - it's simple, very well made, and will last a lifetime. It feels engineered rather than manufactured, and has a traditional, old school European feel to it that counters the modern trend of disposable landfill fodder hailing from China. I find that highly satisfying, and using mine is a true joy. I highly recommend you try one.

Lovely feel
This was a surprisingly good purchase. Before I had a chance to check them out properly the wife had claimed one for herself. These are a about feel and balance gorgeous π.

Must Have!
Brilliant pencil. It is a clutch type that comes with spare leads. They are 6b and are perfect for large shaded areas. It also sharpens to a fine point for detailed work. I also bought some artificial charcoal leads to replace the charcoal I had been using and it was again a lovely pencil to work with. Balanced and comfortable, it is great.

Where is the sharpener in the pencil
Great pencil for drawing,Can I just say thank you to all of you who answered my question about the sharpener.Itβs really useful and as someone pointed out you can use the graphite for shading!

Great pencil and a great price.
Pencil arrived a day earlier than stated so that was great. Well packaged. It's much chunkier than the other clutch pencils I have but they are for 2mm leads so that is to be expected. The pencil feels great to hold. Very well constructed. Drawing with it is a pleasure as you can get very fine lines to broad, dark lines.I'd thoroughly recommend this clutch pencil. Even just for writing.
