Carter's by Davinci Morgan 6-Drawer Dresser in Grey

So, I’m REALLY sad about this one. It was a baby shower gift from my parents & I fell in love with it through pictures. I put it together myself at 36.5 weeks pregnant & it wasn’t the worst thing in the world (however, I enjoy doing things like this). As I was putting it together I felt like so many things were falling apart. Tightened a screw, the wood would crack; tightened a bolt, the bolt and thing that it’s bolted to came out of the wood. The list kind of went on as to things made crappy. One of my drawers won’t open correctly because of the way the track was pre-put-together. The corner of one drawer was broken & the top was nicked. It’s so flimsy you could screw things into the wood like butter, that didn’t have holes pre-made. Directions are confusing, so it took a lot of reasoning and trying to figure it out. The finished product is so cute if you weren’t needing it to function. Unfortunately, my parents came over & were fuming because of the shape it was in & the money they spent on it, so it’s being returned for something else with better reviews in hopes to avoid being disappointed & get our moneys worth. We were warned but figured we would have better odds.Edit to add:The company was great and actually ended up replacing the whole dresser. The next one was still messed up, but less messed up than the first so we will take it at that.

This dresser is fine. It will work. If I had known the poor quality, I would have purchased a regular dresser for our nursery instead of this children's nursery dresser. The drawer sides and back are a very poor quality and if youre not careful you will end up with wood slivers like I did. These prices were also a bit warped making them not fit together very well. My biggest complaint is the front left of the dresser top came with two gouges in the finish. We've literally waited months for this dresser so I found a brown sharpie to make them less visible. The drawers rattle a bit and fit fine, not great but slide in and out smoothly. All in all, I do not think I would recommend this dresser. Its just such poor quality.

Don’t think you’ll be the exception to the negative reviews. Kudos to the pregnant mommas that put this piece together. It took a handy female 3 hours to assemble with no problems.I made this purchase after scouring the internet for a white 6-drawer dresser. It seems that due to the pandemic that everyone has started redesigning bedrooms. So my top choices were not in stock.I was looking for a sturdy product below $300 and this fit the bill.I read countless reviews on this product and after looking at the misaligned drawers from photos in other reviews-I decided the errors were from user installation error and that I could do much better.False. Along with the lack of squareness in the drawer alignment, I was also overjoyed to join the damaged wood club. My top corner is busted, and while I tried to flip the top around to hide it as a back corner, I realized there is only one right way to place the top as it has a slight overhang on the front.Overall, this suits my needs and will do just fine-but the quality is lacking in manufacturing.

At 32 weeks pregnant, it took about 2 hours to put this together by myself. The instructions are intimidating at first glance but not so bad if you take your time. There were no damaged or scratched pieces. It’s sturdy & I’d be comfortable putting a changing pad on top of it.Once it was all together, the drawers on the right side were higher than the left & the top drawer was stuck on the top of the dresser, obviously not functional. I had to re-screw the hardware lower than the manufacturer had done it. It took some time to get them level so the drawers would close properly & they’re still not perfect.Once I got it into my son’s room to fill it up, the drawers are so shallow! I have to pull them past the safety stops to put laundry away. I plan to line the drawers with contact paper because it’s particle board that was splintering on the edges during assembly.I expected a little better quality for the price but it’ll do the job.

Probably the worst piece of furniture I've ever bought. Breaking apart (screw inserts can’t hold screws), deformed (see pictures), and has very strong factory smell. Could not stress enough how much of a waste of money and time it was. See pictures for yourself - an absolute nightmare of a dresser! DON’T BUY!!!!!!

The dresser arrived undamaged and relatively quick. After it is all put together it looks really nice. It took my husband almost 3 hours to put it together. There were parts where hidden screws were really hard to tighten. There were parts of the drawers that didn’t line up so he had to adjust some things to make it work. One of drawers doesn’t close all the way to be flush but if you stand back you can’t tell. Overall so far it’s a good dresser compared to another brand from my first daughters dresser which has been really good for us.

Okay. I understand that this product is put together in China like most products which is sad. But let’s talk about some design upgrades. 1. Manufacture in the US. 2. Put together and wood locking system to reinforce the wood screws holding the drawers together. 3. Ensure that the drawers actually fit the frame of the dresser maybe a couple of quality control tests. We have one drawer that doesn’t fit which is disappointing so I have to use good old fashioned craft to fix. 4. Include a chip repair kit jeez what did they hit these against the assembly line a couple of times. 5. QA/QC

It's ok for the price. I put it together myself and it took about 2.5 hours and wasn't hard to do - the pieces are clearly labeled and the instructions are good in my opinion. The only drawback is that the pieces were not all in great shape even though it looked as if I was the first person opening this piece of furniture. The top was scuffed in two corners, the back panel particle board was broken off at one corner, one of the sides had a minor crack running down a leg. Honestly I just put it together and haven't contacted the seller to complain because I don't really have the time to pack it up and send it back. The end result is that it looks nice and the drawers are relatively even and glide well - it's good enough.

Ordered this to go with same brand crib. Arrived well packaged and I damaged. Took a while to put together but only because of the drawers which had a number of pieces. Easy instructions and it looks pretty sturdy and it’s beautiful. Would buy again.

Nice piece of furniture, sturdy and solid. On the down side there’s dents in it that was painted over so obviously they had to have seen it. Also the top has 3 screws/nails trying to pop out.

Easy to put together, looks great and has a solid feel.
