WAY better than expected, a sturdy, precision little tool to remove ivy and wild jasmine vines out of control. It's not meant to be a "small hoe" but rather a weed rake to hook weeds and vines. I can elect to use "as is" as a small hand tool or craft a handle for it if desired. I am impressed. Works for me!

This is heavy duty for a decent price. It works so good. Makes weed pulling so much easier.

I watched a video online (I forget who produced it) where a fair-haired man was on his knees, using a Japanese sickle to basically cut down long grass. The blades of grass just toppled over like he was using a scythe. So, okay, I couldn't tell which brand of Japanese sickle he was using, but this one was under $10 so why not give it a try? It arrived today, and while it does cut grass, I have to hold the top of it (the grass) to create some tension before the blades are willingly sheared in two. I can't just casually swish my arm back and forth from the elbow, holding the handle of this tool, and have all of my long grass seemingly melt before me. Thus the four stars, because this sickle DOES cut grass, it just does not cut it as well as I had hoped that it would.

I love the curved hook, and the length is very helpful. Quality steel and stays sharp! The handle feels like it will never be a problem.

Wow... The blade is SUPER thin, like I can bend it with my fingers thin. It can certainly be sharpened to be razor thin because it already is most of the way there. Not going to a lot of use. Should be fine for fresh grass, but if it's dried like for grains, vines or something there's no mass for the swing and it'll warp. Have another tool from this maker and it's fine.

This gadget is easy to use and love how it removes the weeds. Very easy and convenient to keep your yard free from weeds.

Every gardner needs one of these. It is very sturdy and comfortable to use. I have many tools but this one does what the other ones don't.
