Jebao #PU-9: 9w UVC Water Pond Clarifier Light Steriliser - Fish, Koi & Garden

Its been quite a few months now and still working perfectly, water very very clear, great value, easy to fit and use....very pleased

The unit is very simple to install and the results are excellent (after two days).

Returned from holiday to find our 405 litre pond was completely brown and we could not see fish or plants. Read reviews on Amazon and decided to give it a try. The delivery was prompt and we fitted it to our existing pump. Within 1 week pond had cleared and we can see straight to the bottom. Well worth the money.

UV filter system incorporated in my Blagdon MPF System ceased to work,on closer inspection wiring to electric box (dont know name) was completely eroded along with connections,(had been out in the weather for eight years) so,Jebao UV filter £30, as to new system £130,was agood alternative,fitted between pump and filter, works a treat.

My Blagdon water purifier split after 4 years and I was looking for a replacement. As I have a couple of 9W UV bulbs spare I settled for another 9W clarifier. This is a very well built unit with all relevant attachments and fixings. The unit comes with meters of cable and a waterproof transformer. It also has a very handy viewing window in the top of the unit so you can check your bulb without having to dismantle it. My 1200 litre pond was getting fairly green and this unit completely cleared it in 2 days. Very pleased with the product and the company as delivery was very quick.

Looked at reviews and thought this would be a good product.Altered the pipework plug it in, cleared the pond slightly after a week and now appears to have stopped working completely as pond has returned to original state.Would not recommend this product.

Seems to do as it says "on the box". I found it rather difficult to check if bulb was functioning or not, through appropriate view port. Depends how filter box "lay-out" is situated I suppose. Nevertheless, overall seems OK. Can recommend. Thank you.

The product arrived on time and I coupled it up but it didn't work. I tried for several hours with various combinations of wiring checking each stage (even the existing wiring to the garden). Each section worked but in total, it didn't. I gave up and bought another from a garden centre (£90) and it worked straight away! A qualified electrician checked it out and got it working - said the bulb was in wrong way round - though I'd even tried it in both positions when initially checking. So I'm now left with a working spare which I am not confident about. I couldn't send it back as I'd cut the transparent 'cones' to fit my hoses. That is (£30) wasted. You can see from this rant that I am not best pleased!
