Sounds great. The midwoofer is a little limited on certain frequency response, so make sure to have an accurate working knowledge of crossovers and gain settings for optimal sound. Otherwise they can bottom out on you a little quick.

I do not know if there is a standard in speaker sizing, but these did not fit my opening. Nor the baffles. Other than this they are well constructed and sound good for entry-level speakers. I custom made my mounts which were stiffer than the OEM ones anyway. So four out of five for the sizing. ; - )

I've been in car audio for over 25 years and have worked with the best and worst equipment you can find. Knowing that labels are just stickers, it's the components that make up the driver that you need to look at. I was surprised at how well these sounded. Tweeters have a nice flat response and the mid-range are well under control. Quick glance shows what appears to be a 12db/Oct crossover. Multi mounting options made for a flawless install.

Sound great

The first woofer: went to slip on the wire adapter that goes to the factory harness. The pathetic little attachment that holds the wire bracket to the speaker frame came off…. I zip tied it in place. If I were going to leave these speakers in, I would epoxy the bar in place. The second woofer: Has a 1.5” scratch all the way through the coating on the woofer. The wires that come with these speakers are so small I can see speakers being destroyed because you can’t push enough wattage through them to run them properly. This stuff is trash!!!! I already knew the tweeters were trash from the reviews, but that was ok. I have a nice set of Kicker tweeters that i never installed in the vehicle I bought them for. I was hoping the woofers at least sounded decent. They do sound better than stock, but not a whole lot better. I’m going to put a set of Polk Audio DB 572 in the front doors of my 2006 F150. The set I put in the rear doors earlier today sound fantastic for a 6x8…..
