Good quality
My son who has special needs had a 7 hour brain surgery in June. During his recovery we couldn’t have him picking at the wounds on his head for risk of infection. These helped by not letting his hand reach up to scratch or rub the wounds and he didn’t develop an infection. These helped us a lot. They wash well, are easily slipped on, and comfortable against his sensitive skin.

Dementia restraints
They lasted about three days….the stitching that holds the metal rings aren’t strong enough. A few days it just unravel…

Snapped and broke fist time use
Used as a safety wrist restraint for autistic teen who snapped and tore it apart minutes after taking it out of the package and having them on.

Good Option for spicy play
If you're a spicy participant and have a need to restrain to a bedframe..... for, ya know, whatever reason, this is an okay option. Holds up to a bit of pressure. a little uncomfortable around the edges. But, who knows, that might be your 'thing'.I wouldn't use these for elevation. But, for basic bed, or even chair, restraints: good feasible option.

Probably effective, but also a great gag / white elephant gift
My wife works in a medical clinic, and they have a lot of parties and showers that involve gag gifts or white elephant exchanges, etc. Since this is a medical device - perhaps with a naughty alternative use or two - it was the perfect choice! At a gift exchange at one of the nurse's baby showers, this was the item that the clinic staff fought over. Hilarity for all. I have no idea how well it works, for its intended purpose or the purposes of younger and more active people, but we all loved it.

Potential Elder Abuse, Injury, and/or Death
The use of physical restraints can potentially be considered elder abuse and can lead to serious injury or death. The use of restraints in hospitals and nursing homes is ordered by a doctor and it MUST be for the medical benefit of the patient and not for the ease of the caregiver. Someone in a restraint still requires almost constant supervision for their safety. Improper use can lead to serious injury or even death
