This HDMI switch works great with my ROKU stick on one input and my DVD drive which has HDMI output on another input. I had previously purchased a smaller 3-way switch unit that had an integrated HDMI output cable about 2 feet long; that one did NOT work with the ROKU as I needed to power it down and back up each time; also the short cable meant that the switch ended up behind the TV. This unit does not have an HDMI output cable so you need to use a separate cable; I got a 6' cable to plug this switch into the TV. Works great; ROKU comes up each time I switch to its position; DVD works too.

It's great. Has no noticable lag when gaming. Can display in full 4K @60fps (probably more but my monitor can't display better). I can hook my PC, PS4, and Xbox series to this and switch with just a press of a button. I used to have to unplug and replug the HDMI everytime I wanted to play something different. Well worth the price.

Item didn't work...no signal at all from the PS5 and Xbox, and only about 1 second of video from the computer before the screen goes blank for 5 seconds, then another 1 sec of signal. I spent about 20 minutes swapping cables (all high speed that work fine when plugged into the TV directly from the source) to no avail. To add insult to injury, when I initiated the refund, dropping it off at an Amazon box--by far the most convenient thing for me-- was not an option. 20 minutes on the phone with Amazon customer service failed to resolve that issue, and, according to Amazon, it's the UGREEN's fault for that. So...I'm saltier than a slice of country ham haha.

It’s a great switcher! Replaced an older one that went out. I do wish there was a different configuration around the placement of power, ins/outs. It made cable management a little harder than it probably had to be. Only thing it’s missing is auto-signal detection and switching. I’d rather my tv change when I turn on a new console automatically.

Normally I would have rated this 3 stars but I will give 4 stars because of what this hdmi switcher is able capable outputting for the price.Here are the two reason ls why it lost two stars, first off, the quality of this device that it outputs at least for me, not sure how this performed for everyone else, however, for me I noticed a decrease in resolution clarity and color contrast. I ran this device on an LG C2 OLED using my Xbox Series X and Nintendo Switch and Wii and for all three consoles the outcome was the same with it being more noticeable on the Nintendo Switch and Wii. The decrease in quality on these two settings alone is why it lost one star. Secondly, the other reason why it lost another star, which just depends on how, YOU (the consumer), feels about this flaw on the device, is that I noticed there is a slight loss in volume of the audio output. When I was testing the visual quality on the device by switching between going through the switcher vs directly to the tv, I noticed the volume level drops slightly lower when using the HDMI switcher. This was tested with all of the three same consoles used on the visuals above and all three had the same outcome. This may not be a big deal to everyone but, I’m letting you know the kinks I came across. Also, to be clear I used an HDMI 2.1 and 1.4 for the inputs, as this device is backwards compatible with previous HDMI versions, and the output used was always was an HDMI 2.1 as that is the best cable to receive and output the HDMI switcher’s full benefits that compliments my LG C2 OLED.As to why this product earned a star in return, was simply due to all its specifications and functionality for its price point. This UGREEN HDMI switcher is probably the best HDMI switcher in the market money can buy for current devices/game consoles out in 2025 in terms of the benefits as long as you have the proper hardware and pieces in place it should perform as expected. Its ease of use and setup also gives it that star back. Thus, beyond these reasons, do not let this device’s imperfections overshadow, the advantages and benefits it still provides for current modern systems, such as 8k@60hz, 4k@60hz, & 1080p@240hz with backward compatibility support for HDMI 2.0 and 1.4 and capable of up to 48gbs of High bandwidth for fast data transmission giving low latency video and audio pass through (using a HDMI 2.1 cable) as well as, DOLBY VISION and Dynamic HDR support, this HDMI switcher by UGREEN is well worth buying as long as you understand the requirements to get the best results.

very skeptical at 1st (these things fail ofen for me). so far, working like a charm

So I was pretty happy at first… my last switch was only good to 60 hz. This one all allowed me to use 120hz, vrr, allm, and hdr…. Well sorta. My pc and my Xbox series X are hooked up via this hub… as far I can tell all features of hdmi 2.1 work on my pc… but what I found with my series X is that is I wanna use 120hz mode to take advantage of vrr… I cannot use hdr.. hdr only works when I set the console to 60hz. I imagine all the reviews saying it dosnt work are because the console or device used 120hz with hdr enabled. Kinda bummer because I like hdr in some games. I dunno if this is just a bad unit? Iam also outside my return window… it works other then that… me being me Iam already looking at new ones…wish ugreen would make this right!
