It works good for me.I just wet it with cold water, put it on and get to working!

Okay… I did not purchase these for myself but for the guys I work with. The guys are remodeling our entire building, and the exterior work has been brutal with the summer heat. These have been a huge relief to the guys. They wet them and are ready to go!They are well-made but the plastic snaps, not so much. The towels aren’t heavy and will dry quickly, so if you’re doing roof work, keep a bottle of water or bucket up there to rewet it frequently. When they dry, they are still pretty breathable.I would wash them with a mild detergent and cool water and hang them to dry to keep them from wearing out so quickly.My next venture? I will purchase some for myself to help keep me cool when doing yard work.

I live in the deep south and it gets so hot and humid that doing outside chores is a drag. These keep my head protected from the sun and absorb the sweat that can be blinding when it runs down your face. Very light weight and comfortable. I wish that I had owned these sooner. Be careful with the fragile plastic snaps.

Wow, these Cooling Hoodie Towels really do work to help us stay cool, when out in the heat. I ordered these for when we travel from our cool coastal town, where the outside temperature rarely gets above 70° F in the summer, to inland where it gets up to 100° F +. I have been wearing one of these hoodies while working in our greenhouse, too. It really works! Just run one of the hoodie towels under cool water, then wring it out and fan it a little, before putting it on your head and shoulders. Then snap the snap that is in front. It helps keep the hoodie on. The hoodies stays cool for quite awhile. I ordered the set of four black and gray hoodie towels.

They kept me cool on those 90 degree days!

These are so stinky they are hard to use. Even after washing they still stink. They have a big slit down the back so if you are using them for shade from the sun then look elsewhere. I wish I did t purchase these.

These are a nice idea that feel really good. They are very lightweight so it's easy to bring them on a hike and have the option to put them on. The snap works well and would definitely hold in place. They are nice to get wet and use to cool off as well as have sun protection.I will only give a warning that you should manually undo the snaps instead of pulling the towel to get the snaps undone. The snaps are close to the edge and it feels like you could eventually pull the snaps out of the towel material if you don't undo them manually.

I do activities around the house and where I reside its gets pretty hot and humid. This is a great protection from the sun and I don’t have to use as much sun block and is breathable.
