Works well for me
These work well for me, I've had one before on a previous bike and the new one I've just bought fits nicely on to my BMW R9T.You have to get used to holding the throttle a little differently because it takes up space at the right hand end of the grip. So when you are not using it, it still gets in the way because you have reduced the width of the throttle grip so your hand cannot spread out as much across the grip as when the item is not there. For some people that may be too awkward and even though I like it, there are still occasions when it does get in the way a bit. That's why I've knocked off a star, because I suspect that some riders just won't get on with it for this reason. Having said that, whether you'll like it probably depends on the majority of your riding. If it's mainly around town then it may not be of much use really and having it in the way of your throttle hand probably outweighs any benefit. It's on longer rides where this reverses and the relief you can get then exceeds the downside. But it's not serious money so if you think you might like it, I'd say it's worth trying for the modest cost.

Feels like throttle is part of your hand
One of the best buys for my motorbike. You can control the throttle just by moving your wrist up and down.No need to keep your fingers around the throttle, but can leave them relaxed over the brake.Previously on a long way I've got a blisters from the throttle, but not with the crampbuster.Obviously, it depends on how do you use your throttle, if you control it with thumb and index finger, you might not like the crambuster. Also the full throttle needs use of the fingers as the angle is just too large to handle full throttle just by wrist. You need to use your fingers to open full throttle. But you can still use them (fingers) with it (crampbuster) anyway. When intensively braking, you can by accident push on it and rev the engine a bit (depends on the angle of it and if you used to just leave the throttle to close automaticaly or you closing it by hand as well)I bought it to use only on motorways (long rides with constant throttle), but I found out I can use it all the time (motorways, city, back roads). Only when I do want to really push the bike (using (full) throttle on and off), I don't use it.

Recommended for long journeys, not so useful otherwise
Great, simple little addition to the bike that does make a difference. Once you have it in the right place it means holding the throttle steady is much less of a strain on your wrist. Very useful for long journeys, though I did leave it on while commuting.I have recently taken it off though, as once or twice it has led to unintended blip, but never did I feel it could be dangerous. Would definitely recommend if you're riding on motorways or planning a long journey.

Does the job
Been using this for a little while now, really good for long journeys cruising on motorways etc., I had developed a habit of gripping the twistgrip like a vice to stop it slipping, this gets very tiring on the right hand and I then found the left hand is doing it as well! I do also get actual cramp in the fingers sometimes. This allows the bars to be gripped lightly. Only slightly awkward part is using the brake lever, but not a huge problem.

Ease that ache
If you find you grip your grips too hard, and end up getting an aching right hand, this could be the product for you. Standard grips are too narrow for me, so l got a pair of Grip Puppies to pad it out, then put this Crampbuster on top. There is another size, so make sure you know your grip diameter. No tools required, open the ring, put it on the right of the grip, and work out a good position for you. If too high, just push it round the grip till it is right, as it grips when pushed down. I found it easily positioned, and have had no problem operating the throttle. It is longer than necessary, and looks abit odd, but l can live with that for the absence of ache.

Just superb.
I saw this in a bike mag, and wondered if it could be a solution for the tendon issues I have in my right hand on longer journeys. It is that solution. I am deeply impressed - so simple and very effective. Hats off to whoever designed this. Further, it is a safety aid in an unexpected way. Going through traffic on a big scoot as I do, I can have both hands hovering over the brakes while maintaining throttle control. The best £10 I have spent in a very long time.
