Great Bag
I’ve had numerous bags over the years but this one is as close to perfect as I’ve had. Big enough for my MacBook Pro 14 with room for iPad and all of the other stuff needed. The extra bag for cables is a nice touch. The best part of this bag is the comfort of the straps and back padding. Extended wear is comfortable. Great bag.

lightweight beautiful backpack!
Love this backpack. I use it every day for work. It keeps my Surface Pro safe and sound, its super lightweight, and I love the fabric/color. I wasn't too keen on the blue zipper pulls as pictured (i dont like the color blue and was going to cut them off), but when I got the bag, i was delighted to see the blue zipper pulls are actually more slate blue gray! Be aware, they are not bright blue like in the picture!

Excellent backpack, well-designed and compact.
I've been looking forever for a backpack that is not too big, but has all the features of a full size one (pockets for different things to support a daily work, padded and protected place for laptop or tablet, quick, convenient pocket for eye glasses airline boarding passes..Well I found it all in this backpack. So why 4 stars? This backpack is a bit on the heavy side, heavier than my OGIO and costs about 4 times as much (I paid around 40 bucks for one at C***co). This backpack is well-balanced, so it feels good on my back. Two side pockets to store eye glasses, phone and headphones or earbuds. A front pocket has slots that you could keep airline boarding passes or cell phone. One spacious compartment to keep a jacket or books with a lot of room left. Also a secured pocket to keep important paper (passport..). The second smaller compartment keep my 13" MacBook (they claimed it will hold a 15" laptop) and extra slot for tablet.I've not heard of this brand, but it is an excellent backpack. Tough water-proof material (hence the weight) and stitching, I believe this pack will last a lifetime.

Complete layout and measurements
This bag has lots of ideas. I like the sling at the bottom of the laptop pocket that holds the laptop above the floor of the pack, which along with the padding provides good protection. The pocket is plenty big too. I can fit my old 17" MacBook Pro into it, though it's so snug at the top when the zipper is closed that it probably wouldn't be such a great idea to use this pack for that. It should be more than big enough for any normal 15".There are lots of pockets, including several more padded ones suitable for tablets and phones. There's no cell-phone-size pocket on the inside; there are a couple partly-padded pockets of that size that slant down in a larger pocket on the front of the pack, and the inside main compartment has an unpadded fleece-lined pocket for sunglasses near the top that could hold a cell phone. All those pockets have access for a cable if you put a battery pack inside. The outer side pockets puzzle me. The openings are so tight that it's hard to get anything with any bulk in and out, especially when the main compartment of the pack is full. The pack appears to be well made and sturdy, except that the velcro closure on the pocket for a battery pack is coming off. 100% polyester fabric with water-resistant backing.External dimensions (moderately packed) and padding-- 12-1/2" wide (excluding side pockets that can add a few more inches if filled)-- 19" tall-- 8" front to backThe back is covered by breathable mesh over some soft padding over some stiffer foam padding.StrapsThe adjustable shoulder straps are 2-3/4" wide with breathable mesh on the underside, 1/4" foam padding inside. The adjustable chest strap can be moved up and down about 6".Laptop compartmentAll of the inside pockets are open at the top unless otherwise described. The laptop compartment, against the back of the pack, has its own exterior zipper with two pulls. It has padding, mostly quilted, all around except about an inch along the zipper. Inside measurements:-- A bit under 11" wide at the bottom, a little over 11" wide halfway up, and rounded at the top-- 16-1/2 top to bottom in the middle, but a couple inches less at the sides because of the rounded top corners.-- About 1" of room front to back that tapers in some at the bottomThe 17" MBP I put in it shows about the maximum it can hold. That MBP is 15-1/2" x 10-1/2" x just under 1".Medium tablet pockets: on the front side of the laptop compartment there are a couple overlapping flat padded pockets. They start about 3" from the bottom of the compartment and are 8-3/4" wide. The outer one is 9-3/4" top to bottom on one side, with a slant at top that goes down about an inch on the other side. The inner one is 10-5/8" top to bottom.Main compartmentThe main compartment of the pack has an external zipper with two pulls.-- 4-1/4" front to back until it starts to taper in at the zipper to about 3" at the top-- Just over 11" wide at the seams, a little wider away from the seams when packed-- 19" top to bottom in the middle, with rounded corners at the topIt's separated from the laptop compartment with a layer of foam padding covered with fabric. It's also padded at the bottom, but not elsewhere.Large tablet pocket: on the back of the main compartment there's a flat padded pocket that covers the whole 11" width and is 13-1/4" tall starting at the bottom of the pack.Sunglasses pocket: at the top of the outer side of the compartment (the side away from the back) there's a flat zippered pocket lined with soft fleece. Its left corner at the bottom is sewn off to make room for a "port" (see below), and it follows the curve of the top of the pack, so it's 8-1/2" across at the bottom, 10" across at the middle, and the zipper opens to 8-3/4".Removable pouch: there's a tether clipped to a removable zippered pouch, 11-1/2" wide, 5" tall, 1-5/8" deep at the bottom, tapering to a point at the top.Battery pocket: on the left side of the main compartment there's a flat unpadded pocket for a battery pack. It starts at the bottom and comes 7" up, and is 4" wide, with a 1-1/2" strip of velcro to close the top.Cable "ports": there are four elongated grommets to pass a charging cable through to other pockets, all on the left side, one near the top to go to the laptop compartment, one a couple inches above the battery pocket to go to the exterior side pocket, one a few inches further in towards the front to go to the lower-middle exterior pocket, and one above that to go to the upper-middle exterior pocket.Cable hooks: there are two plastic cable hooks, one at the top front left and the other at the back left a couple inches above the battery pocket.Exterior compartment and pocketsMiddle compartment: the lower two thirds of the front of the pack has a covererd zipper on the right side that opens 9-1/4". Inside there's a flat compartment 10" wide and 11-1/4" tall with three pockets. One pocket, on the back side of the compartment, is the same size as the compartment. It has a zipper just inside the outer zipper. The other two pockets, apparently intended for cell phones, are sewn onto that pocket, one above the other. They have quilted padding on the outer side, are open on the right side, 5" high and a bit under 6" across, and slant downward about 1-1/2" from the opening.A grommet cable port is in the upper-left corner of the part of the compartment where the padded pockets are, for access to a battery you put inside the main compartment.Upper pocket: right above the middle compartment there's a pocket that follows the edges of the main compartment zipper on three sides, 11-1/2" wide at the bottom, 6-3/4" tall, with rounded top corners, and fabric cut so that there's about 1-1/2 depth inside. Near the top there's a covered zipper that opens 7-1/2" across. There's a grommet cable port for access to an inside battery in that pocket too, at the lower left corner.Side pockets: these pockets are intended for water bottles or whatever you want easy access to, but they're a little hard to get bottles in and out of if the bag is full because the opening is so tight. Each pocket has a zipper along the back that opens 8". The pockets are 10" tall at the opening, slanting up to ever 11" towards the front, about 7" front to back, with about 1-1/2 to 2" depth inside, expandable into the inner space of the pack.Weighs 2.1 pounds.Lifetime repair-or-replace warranty.Made in Vietnam.

This pack is pretty nice. Spacious and well thought out
This pack is pretty nice. Spacious and well thought out. It has cable routing, which I like. Carries well on the back and feel like my electronics are well padded and protected.
