Slime 8oz Puncture Prevention Fluid for Adult Bike Tyres, Green

Bought on the back of advise for a phi & ted 4 wheel buggy. Very easy to use. No mess. I have no idea how to repair punctures and the idea of having one when babies in buggy worried me so bought product as a prevention. Product does not state how much to use on a buggy so I estimated: 1 80z can does 2 adult bike tyres so I just divided contents of bottle by 4. You can see contents by holding plastic bottle up (I marked 4 equal parts using a felt tip pen) Have not tested buggy out yet but I am confident it will work on small puncutres as stated on product.

I have back trouble, but find most back support cushions too deep for me, so I use the inflatable travel type, which is great for getting the perfect adjustment. Trouble is, after a while they tend to leak air. After racking my brains looking for an answer I suddenly had a eureka moment! Why not try this stuff I'd used in my bike tyres in the past, to great effect (its fantastic if you have a puncture miles from home!) So I ordered some, slightly inflated the leaking cushion, then squeezed some Slime in through the valve, closed it and gave it a good shake, squeezing the stuff all round the inside. I left it flat for a few hours, then tried it: perfect! I've now been resting against it for a week and it hasn't lost a drop of air! Perhaps an unorthodox use, but it's saved the day for me!

I bought this to fix an old wheel-barrow tyre after having a puncture. The wheelbarrow gets used intermittently for quite heavy jobs though, so it also spent a long time deflated and the edges of the wheel had started to perish.I figured that if I bought a new inflatable wheel, then it would probably just get another puncture, so I tried this stuff instead and it is fantastic. I filled the tyre up when I first got the goo (about a year ago), and it was still working when I went to use the wheel-barrow this weekend - that is, the tyre was flat and leaking air when I first pumped it up (because the tyre had perished further), but sealed again when pumped up, after a few seconds and a few quick spins!

Bought this as I got tired of fixing punctures. The bottle top doubles as a device for removing the valve core, the only snag is that if it's a bit tight the device (Being plastic ) will snap. Putting it into the tyre with the tube supplied, is relatively easy until you get to just over half way. As the slime is forced into the tyre by squeezing the bottle it gets harder and harder. Some type of injector would be an improvement, if probably a bit more expensive.

very easy to put in bike inner tubes took less then five minutes to do a child could do it its that easy hopefully this should make my tires more protected from punctures as i have puncture protection tires on bike too

Used this for my pram, was getting punctures nearly every week, got to the point I was caarrying pump and puncture repair kit round with me, since using this I haven't had 1 puncture.just a bit fiddly to put in.

A great tube of slime that you can put into your tyre to prevent punctures. Everybody knows that the most awful thing about tyres is a puncture and having to mend/fix it.This stuff is easy to apply, you just squirt it into the valve and you then have the peace of mind that even if you run over a tack or a nail or a piece of glass that your tyre will stay pumped up as this gooey liquid will fill the void.Good stuff and recommended.
