Takes some maneuvering to install.
Filter is not curved to fit. You’ll have to bend it into place before installing frame back into your car. All in all worth the price and does the job well.

Great filter, annoying job.
This was a great price on a good quality filter. The job itself is annoying because it required the removal of a panel and two light connections before I could get to the filter cover. The cover required torque bits to remove and the filter has to be bent into a U shape in order to get it into the compartment. Realistically it only took 20-30 minutes but leave it to BMW to make a simple job difficult.

Direct OEM replacement plus more!!
This filter was very easy to install in my 428i X Drive Gran Coupe. Had no issues at all and we all know this filter is under the dash and must be pre bent to fit in. Fit like a glove. Install took 15 mins.
