$300 for a glorified flashlight!?
Out of all firearms accessories, there is nothing I like purchasing less than weapon lights. For defensive applications, weapon lights are a must. I own and have used options from various companies and while Streamlights get the job done, no light maker I've seen comes close to Surefire's quality. You can easily feel a quality difference between the two favoring Surefire. Unfortunately, they cost two to three times more than competitive solutions. The cost of a Surefire is almost painful to pay given a weapon light is little more than a quality flashlight with an integrated rail mount. Surefire also doesn't include the majority of the accessories you need to get the most out of the light such as a tail cap that accepts pressure switches. You also don't get pressure switch pads or anything like that. The tail cap that can utilize a pressure cap and features a constant on switch is sold separately as well. By the time you are done buying everything you can be at $500 for your Surefire pretty easily. It's bonkers that these cost so much. However, the reason I have so many of these things is because they work forever. I buy them knowing they do not fail and when compared to other lights I've got such as the Streamlight Pro Tac HL-X 1000, there is no comparison when it comes to quality, fit, finish and durability. Surefire simply does what it does better than anything else on the market. That's why Surefire can charge what it does. Is it worth the money? Part of me wants to say "no", but I keep buying their products anyway because I know they are the best option on the market when you get down to it. The M300C is no exception.

Rock solid
Great product, very solid. It casts a very bright light. Only two gripes. I wish it was a little bit lighter and price was less. But sure fire quality you have to pay for.

Product works and looks great and shipping was fairly fast but seems to be falsely advertised. Appears to be the 300 lumen scout mini and not the 500 lumen version witch it was described as.

The Very Best
What can you say? if Surefire made every product in America, then nothing would ever break and everything would always be the very best. The Surefire Mini-Scout is, without a doubt, the best carbine and rifle weapon-light in the world. And in the flat-dark-earth color, it's even cooler.

Worth it
After years of wishing and trying various less costly options, I got the m300c in FDE and paired it up with the “mil-spec switch socket”. Nothing but good. It’s super bright, ultra compact, tacticool and it’s surefire.

Fake!
Fake! The first one I ordered was fake. Very fake. The second one showed up as an empty Amazon box.The fake light was a bright gold, no momentary function on the tailcap, a streamilight battery inside, mismatching numbers on the body and led head, and extremely cheap feeling. Buyers beware!
