Hi-TecMen's Banderra Ii Low Wp Wide Rise Hiking Boots

I have several pairs of these and like the wide fitting that fit my bunioned feet well although I do buy 1/2 size larger. They stand up very well to both pavement walking and rougher stuff and never had any problems with walking through some very deep puddles. I regularly walk 6 to 8 miles each weekend in these and in summer even further (in winter I tend to use proper walking boots when off-pavement). They are pretty tough and need a little bit of breaking in (possibly due to my defective feet) but once broken in are really comfortable and never had blisters even on 10+ mile walks. I have even traversed hard pack snow fields high in the Rockies in a previous pair. Really hope HiTec stick with the same basic design although each time a buy a new pair there are subtle changes.

I purchased these to use for a charity walk, and they saw me through 800 miles with no issues. From day one, they were very comfortable and only needed very little breaking in. Since completing the charity event I would say these shoes have covered another 200ish miles, but sadly they are about to reach the end of their life as finally there are signs that the sole is starting to break away from the upper.I have had no major issues with water ingress as others have reported. I spray them regularly with a protector which helps. I guess if you expect waterproof then you need to be looking at high end boots or wellies😂I shall probably buy a replacement pair if the price is still the same.

Ordering shoes online is always a bit hazardous for me because I have very wide feet. Generally I take either a size 10 wide, or a 9.5 very wide. I needed some reasonable shoes for dog walking, so they need to be waterproof and resistant to mud and such like. I took a gamble on these, and they fit me reasonably well - the width is fine, and they are a little long but that was to be expected.Otherwise, they seem to be quite decent - they are fairly thick and sturdy, although obviously they aren't proper hiking boots. For the price, I'm quite happy with them. They even came with a spare pair of laces, which is a nice touch.

This is probably the fourth pair of these shoes that I have purchased over the years and as you can guess I must be pleased with the fit.The only problem I have encountered is that the previous pair I bought through Amazon was the standard fit (Item model number: 0005472) not the wide fit, it was my fault for not reading the description property, but my mistake did make a difference to the comfort of the shoe so much so that I was thinking twice about buying another pair.So this wide fitting shoe for me is very comfortable apart from my heel rubs a little at first but I put that down to my feet having the same shape as a duck's, this latest pair has shorter laces which is better, they don't take much wearing in and each pair seem to last about seven months. I've not encountered the problems of wear as some people on here, the soles just wear down through use. Also I wouldn't say that they are ultra waterproof, more shower proof although I get around this buy occasionally giving them a spray of shoe protector.So to sum up, if you have wide feet make sure you buy the wide fitting version of Banderra not the standard version and use some water repellent spray occasionally then they should last a fair while.

Love these my third pair of Hi-Tec.

I’ve been wearing a pair of these this past year - they are comfy and look great.But beware - I’ve had two serious falls in these in the wet. On steps or a slope with anything like a slippery surface these give way.Last year I went down on some steps (everyone else with me unaffected) and recently I’ve slipped down on some York flagstone - again everyone else not an issue.I believe there is a real issue with the sole grip on these - just beware.I have some Berghaus and from day one they have been night and day to these - whilst I appreciate the price different (double) there is no reason why soles this risky should be on an outdoor shoe.

These shoes are reasonably well made and keenly priced. The best thing about them is that they are genuinely wide-fit, with plenty of room around the toes, making them comfortable for reasonably long distances. However, the heel lock is quite poor and although I spent quite a bit of time adjusting the insole, the sock I was wearing and the tightness of the laces, I have been unable to get the fit exactly right. I have more or less given up expecting this type of shoe to be waterproof and these are definitely not. They are fine in a light shower but hopeless in seriously wet conditions. To make matters worse they take an age to dry out so hardly suitable for a hiking holiday unless you can guarantee dry conditions.

Just right for winter months with good gripping sole.

De très bonnes chaussures de marche adaptées aux pieds un peu larges. Un prix plus que raisonnable. Du confort, de la souplesse... .

Scarpa di costruzione solida, invernale, con un suo peso, comoda perché a pianta veramente larga e con il collo alto del piede, buon sostegno della caviglia, quasi più simile a uno scarponcino da camminata in mezza montagna. Vestibilità corretta, comprato un numero in più per mettere un plantare e usare le calze di lana. Vista la robustezza sono incerto se ha senso comprare già adesso un secondo paio.

Ich habe Gr. 43 mit hohem Spann und breitem Fuß. Durch Versteifung meines großen Zeh s habe ich bei 85 % aller norm Schuhe Druckschmerzen im Zehen und Spannbereich.Habe mir zur Anprobe 5 Namhafte Hersteller verschiedener Preisklassen zusenden lassen.Bei allen das gleiche Problem.Als letztes probierte ich diesen Schuh, und es drückte nichts, aber wirklich gar nichts.Angezogen ordentlich gebunden, er sitzt auch heute nach einer Woche täglichem Gebrauch.Ich habe meine Schuhmarke gefunden , denn die Sport und Alltagschuhe einen ähnlichen schnitt haben kaufe ich künftig nur noch diese Marke.Fazit, wer breite Problemfüße hat sollte diesen Schuh probieren.
