I bought these carabiners to replace open hooks that came on a set of two cargo nets I use in the back of my SUV to form reconfigurable storage as I do varying delivery jobs. Open hooks kept getting my storage nets horribly tangled on themselves and carabiner hooks seemed a good way to avoid this. These carabiners were the perfect size, lightweight, and cheap. Unfortunately the cheapness works against them for my use. 2 of 30 already had broken springs when I received them. With each time I clipped and unclipped them, more springs were breaking every three or four days and now just about a month later run out of clips for two nets requiring six anchor points each. The springs have broken in all of them. I suppose they would be great for static uses (like hanging lightweight curtains that would not need to be removed very frequently), but NOT for any use that requires them to be clipped and unclipped often regardless of load. The springs just won't hold up. If your need is the latter, you'll be better served by carabiners designed for hiking and camping, which these definitely are not.

I purchased these for a crafting project they worked fine for what I needed them for, but I would not want to carry keyson theses the spring on them is not strong at all. A couple of them the spring would to work, I just threw them away.They are made cheap, but I didn’t need anything expensive.

These were exactly what I needed.

Being lightweight might be a good thing depending on what you use them for but I felt they were a bit too flimsy for my liking. The spring isn't ideal. However, they serve the intended purpose just the same. I can still shut and secure them even if there's no spring to the spring.

if you need inexpensive decent clips for hanging things that don't weigh much, these are great
