A Must Have
Have used these for years and have to have a supply in reserve. They work best when is an enclosed container. I drape a tea towel over my fruit basket so that it’s enclosed. They work in or out of the fridge. It is best to try not to get them damp, which is difficult in the veg compartment of the fridge, but when they do I leave them to dry out and then reuse them. About the only fruit I have found them not good with are bananas. They may keep them for a day or two but that’s all, unlike apples which I have had for 2 weeks and are still OK.

Amazing - why didn't I know about these before?!
These little discs are magic! I can't believe how much fresher my produce is, both in and out of the fridge. I will certainly be using them all the time from now on!

Simple and effective
I use these regularly, and find them the most convenient and cost-effective method of maintaining the freshness of fruit and veg in the fridge drawer. Easily seen, and with the date written on, they are quickly replaced every three months. Just store them in a plastic bag until needed.

Great for cutting down waste
These little beauties work great keeping a all your fruit n veg lasting well beyond their best before dates. As rule of thumb We go withBananas in a fresh for longer bag and a disc thrown in really slows down the ripening process so no nasty brown ones a few days later this works too with oranges satsumas too.Just throwing these into a fruit bowl just doesnt work its best to place them in their own fresher for longer bags or vacuum tubs and throw a disc in to ask as a booster to soak up the gases

Handy size for most fresh food containers.
I do not understand the rating category of thickness, warmth and shear ness, these a paper/ fabric disks that contain some kind of bead, they seem to work efficiently enough but I have not had the chance to give them a full test run yet.

Extends the life of your fruit and veg.
These discs do make fruit and veg last several days longer. I have found them very useful for strawberries as they do go off very quickly otherwise. When used in containers it is important to keep them dry.

Good
Seem to keep stuff fresher for just that bit longer - "what it says on the tin" type of product.

Good for some fruit and veg!
These certainly extend the life of fruits such as banana's and pears but do little for soft fruit such as strawberries and nectarines.
