Very Satisfied
I had an issue with the two piece closures as did another reviewer. I emailed the mfg and inquired if there was an acceptable alternative to using the closures. They responded the same day and informed me that a double fold and packing tape or duct tape would suffice. Works for me.

Not as Described
This item's description stated that it blocks EM waves due to its multilayer construction while other products do not. We tested this bag using Amateur ( 2M, 70CM), FRS, GMRS, and FRS radios. In all cases the radios placed in a sealed bag were able to receive a signal without distortion. I doubled and tripled bagged the radios and they continued to receive and transmit a signal while in the sealed bags. Placing the radios in a Pelican case lined with foil worked better at blocking EM waves than these overly priced bags. I found these bags to be no better at blocking a signal than a standard static bag. Look elsewhere....We found these bags, at a much lower cost, [...] when doubled perform better than the EMP Cover bags.

The Good,The Bad, and the Questionable
I bought 4 different sizes of these bags to protect stuff of different sizes. On opening the containers of the larger bags, I was very surprised and disappointed to find that instead of the one rod/one clip closure systems found on the small bags, the larger ones had two rods and two clips to cover the full span of the opening. The two rod/two clip system is much more difficult to get on, provides, at best, a questionably secure seal, and appears to have been a cheap trick on the part of the manufacturer to save on their costs at the expense of the buyer's security. Of course, having never experienced an EMP attack, I have no idea how well these bags will work or if they will work at all. And the words on the label that read, "Exceeds Mil Specs" doesn't give me much confidence either, considering all the crazy/stupid things our military has done in the recent past and is still doing.

I like the plastic sealer strip to insure it's properly sealed
They look very well made and strong. I like the plastic sealer strip to insure it's properly sealed. I have these and larger ones as well for bigger items
