Durable
We’ve used the Kid O Bunk for years and now we’re graduating to the big ones. We’ve been extremely happy with this brand. They’re heavy, no doubt. But they’re super durable.

I would recommend this item.

Think twice and again
I am not sure what these good reviews are for. This bed is not portable in any stretch of the imagination. It is 75 + pounds. I ordered two of them. I tried assembling first one and I could not get the sleeve to go over the bed frame. Sleeve looks small for the frame. In any case this is a poorly designed product for camping. If you decide to buy it and want to return it later, you must contact the seller for refund label. The label I downloaded from "PRINT LABEL" was not prepaid and there was no clear instruction to contact the seller to get the prepaid label. This was like a huge rock sitting in my house. So, I went to UPS and it ended up costing me $283 to return both of them. I PAID $283 just to try this out.Later I noticed a message from seller once you go to "Problem with Order" with prepaid label. I contacted the company and they said they can not refund more than what I paid.I like buying stuff from Amazon because of the help you get from reviews and easy return in case you do not like it. Unfortunately both were missing in this transaction and ended up costing me $283.

Great product and company
Bought this to use for camping in a six person text. It’s well built and appears like it could last a lifetime, and is rather easy to assemble. The bunk can easily be put together in about 5 minutes. Each bunk comes in its own carrying case that each weigh a hefty 35lbs which speaks volumes to its strength (approx 70lb total).I must admit the XL is slightly bigger than I envisioned, and I kinda wish I had gone with the regular size model based on the dimensions of my tent. Nevertheless, I like it and look forward to using it regularly.Customer service note: When the product arrived, the bottom bunk rubber grommets that go on the frame feet were missing from the box. My wife reached out to the company, and their customer service replied promptly replied within 2 minutes, sending us replacements. Kudos to the comaony for helping customers in need.I haven’t used the couch feature as I read it’s not comfortable, and to stick with using it as a bunk.

Very useful product!
I purchased this travel bunk bed after having used the child sized version for years. My children are older now and the kid-sized one was getting a little too small for them. We love this one as much as the child one! We keep this at our mountain cabin for instant extra beds. The kids actually fight over who gets to sleep in this bunk system versus a real bed. Both my husband and I have slept on these bunks too, and they were even comfortable for us. (Hubby is 6 ft and 210 lbs....I am not as tall or as heavy, but still comfy!) We have occasionally car camped with this system too....a great replacement to blow-up air mattresses which always seem to pop the first night of camping. If there is any downfall to this system it would be that they are a bit heavy, so they wouldn't be good for airplane or backpacking travel. Excellent for car camping, grandma's house, cabins, extra RV bedding, or all those in combination!
