Seller described heater as having "adjustable temperature". The Heater has no such feature. It is either Full On 1,400 watts or OFF. After requesting a refund they changed their description eliminating the "adjustable heat" feature. Seller ships from California, but if there is a problem, Seller demands you ship it to China at your expense of over $150. Not Nice.

I like the whole thing. It’s good looking, puts out heat and the flames look real. Remote was a plus. We really enjoy it.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  UPDATE: April 2018 (7 months from purchase):I have now cut the skirting board and put the fireplace flush against the wall and added some skirting tape on the edge of the fireplace where it meets the floor. (see my updated photos). Still loving the fireplace, although I have noticed a loud rattle after the heater has been on for approx 10 - 15 minutes. If I push one of the MDF panels in, it stop; so I'm guessing the heat is expanding the wood and it begins to rattle - but I'm not too sure.-----------------------------------------------ORIGINAL REVIEW: Watch my short video review! Very nice and modern fireplace. I love that the fire is wide and it goes well with the TV. I wanted a modern electric fireplace with a mantel and decided to go with this because of the looks and the size. It's about 89cm high which works for me as I plan to mount a TV above it (I hate TV's that are mounted too high! So this just about works). Fire looks great!I managed to get this working with my Amazon Echo, so I can turn it on and off with my voice =)

Originally my wife and I couldn't decide between the castleton fireplace or Danby range from this seller. However we decided to go for the more wider modern looking of the two and went for Denby. In the flesh, the widescreen type exterior oozes class on interior with interchangeable colors illumination looks amazing.The Fireplace came earlier than expected which was great and i thought it was going to be ready packed but instead was flat packed.:(.... Not to worry as it wasn't a difficult task to assemble, although i have to say assembly instructions were a little difficult and common sense was needed through assembling the final stages of assembly to completion.The finished product is really nice and everyone comments on how amazing it looks. IF your thinking should you go for it or not...trust me GO FOR IT you wont be disappointed although bear in mind, the downside is the heat produced when on is not really effective so if your after a solution for heating this isn't the one. But for show it gets a well deserved 5 stars.

I think for the price you get what you pay for. Overall rating is a close tie between 3 or 4 stars for the following reasons;GOOD* Quick delivery* Very well packaged (but not annoyingly so) and labelled for assembly (so much so that Ikea could learn a thing or two)* Good value for money compared to other similar (but smaller) options from the likes of B&Q* The LED lighting is good and adds a nice glow to the room when dark.NOT SO GOOD* Assembly was very frustrating - some of the pre-drilled holes didn't align and one panel needed sanding down to fit as it has not been cut to length correctly. One panel had a crack down it but luckily this is covered up once the fire is in place.* Even when fully assembled there are some fairly large panel gaps* The remote for the fire is very temperamental and has to be pointed at the fire in awkward positions to get it to work* The plastic logs and flame effect are ok but nothing special

I'm wavering between 4/5 stars, as the item is near perfect when delivered, there a tiny part of the corner on the mantle where the gloss wasn't applied properly, but thats only visible to someone who really scrutinizes it.I've gone with 5 as its looks amazing, (will take a picture if anyone would like to see it). I was worried the creme wouldn't match the white skirting, coving and architrave in the room, but its really light cream (more slightly off white than anything else).Takes about an hour to set up, easier with 2 people. Also I noticed one of the reviews says the mantle doesnt fit together properly - I also initially thought this was the case, but you just need to tighten the screws and make adjustments as you are putting it together.Highly recommended center piece (partnered with a sonos play 5 speaker that plays a cracking fireplace sound :P).

Absolutely love my new fireplace! I have been researching which one to buy for so long and decided to buy this one. So glad I did. It matches my IKEA billy bookcases well (colour wise) I was worried it was going to be too white but it isn’t. It is also the same depth.The control is easy to use. It gives out a nice heat if desired but I do t actually use this. I just love the fire affect. There is a fan noise when the heater is on but it isn’t loud and there’s no way you can have something that pumps out heat that doesn’t make a noise at all!I am placing my TV above the sofa on the wall to free up the mantel. I can’t wait until it’s all done. I plan on building in either end of the fire.It looks very modern and I like the fact that the heat ‘grill’ is hidden at the top; some fires have them visible at the front which is something I didn’t like.
