Amazon contacted me to schedule a delivery day and time because a signature is required. This pergola was packed extremely well. The manufacturer also contacted me several times through Amazon and once by phone to ensure that I had recieved the pergola, the lounge chair, and that I had contact a number and an email address for support should I need it. I should also mention that the lounge chair was free through a promotion at the time.Assembly wasn't too bad and I have a few tips. The instructions say not to tighten the bolts until fully assembled. This is not possible because there are bolts inside the corner posts which will be inaccessible when fully assembled. I also suggest starting those bolts first because they are harder to line up. I decided to tighten the bolts inside the corner posts, and the top bolts on all the cross bars, before I put the top covers/louvers on the ends of each side. You'll have a really hard time getting tools on those bolts if you dont. Other than that assembly was pretty easy.Not sure how often this happens, but I did have one weld snap while bolting one of the last pieces on. I fixed this with a 3/4" angle bracket (lines up perfectly), a self tapping metal screw, and an M6 1.0mm flange nut. You'll need to enlarge the hole on the side of the bracket the bolt goes through. I used a 15/64 drill bit. I'm sure Purple Leaf would have sent a replacement piece, but that would have required quite a bit of disassembly and it's not really in a noticeable location.Overall, we are extremely happy with the purchase. If you are looking for a louvered pergola I do recommend this one.Edit: We just had our first hard rain with the louvers closed. Everything under the pergola is dry. The back of the cushions around the edge were wet probably from the rain blowing through the screen. The louvers and gutter system are great!5/15/2025 - Almost at the 3 year mark and no issues at all. No rust. No damage. It's holding up great so far.

We're very happy with our 12x14 louvered pergola. Just finished it today after a lengthy installation, mostly because I had to account for different slopes with our patio concrete. Finally got it all leveled and the rest was pretty easy. Seem to be well made and for an excellent price. The customer service has been exceptional. I had a few issues with parts slightly damaged in shipping, but all problems were worked out quickly and to my satisfaction. I had continued contact with Purple Leaf with some questions and received responses usually within a few hours.

I am absolutely thrilled with this pergola. 12 x 16 bronze Purple Leaf Market was the seller, they were very attentive regarding delivery. It arrived in perfect shape and is sturdy, very well designed.

We get a lot of compliments and this material is very nice and weather resistant. We did measure 3 times and the overlap on the columns was still over several inches on the concrete pad which required us to have to add additional support for those columns.

Would buy again. Very nice project. One section of the instructions is confusing - but otherwise the assembly went very well. Sturdy.

Great quality product. Very easy to assemble, my husband and son completed the assembly in a matter of hours. Purple Leaf was very easy to work with. Sent our order out quickly and kept track of when we received our boxes. (6) This is the second cover our family has purchased as my son has bought one as well. We are both extremely pleased with our new covered patios. Would buy the product and from Purple Leaf again.

Delivery was decently fast and the company called us to arrange a time. Purple leaf's customer service contacted us knowing when it was shipped and that we'd be getting a call for delivery schedule. Delivery is all based on local vendors so take our good experience with a grain of salt.We got all 4 boxes and weren't missing any parts. We had to bend a couple of the top panels and there was a ding in the frame up top, but it's on the back side so you can't really see it.Setup was relatively easy, my husband and one friend put it together in an afternoon. It's bolted down to our deck along support beams.We've so far been really happy with it and it looks and works great. My only complaint is that the hooks for the mosquito screen are useless so we bought Velcro straps to secure them so they don't blow in the wind. They're also very light so we need to find a way to weight them or put a cable through the bottoms seam. A breath of a breeze and they lift and let bugs in.I'll update this review after we see how it survived the summer storms and winter as we live in northwestern MN and get a lot of snow.

framing arrived dented , pinching frame against louver moving part. we bent it back into place order to finish project. One other main frame piece was also bent. Louver arm was missing screw when we opened box. the screw was on top of packaging. Difficult to screw together due to variations in concrete levels. Our concrete is slightly sloped for drainage and any variation throws off screw pattern. Instructions are difficult at time to understand. Thank goodness we hired someone who could fix bent pieces and knew tricks to put screw back into arm or we would of returned it. Overall it is overpriced.
