Purchased this item to replace a faulty piece I currently had. Not only is this one faulty, but the seals in the item are so bad when my pool pump is off water is pouring out of it. Would put zero stars but amazon wont let you. I now have to run my pump till another piece comes in so i dont lose anymore water.

Was just like the one replaced. Will by agean next time

As stated, product does not seal properly and leaks. I exchanged the original with a replacement and the replacement leaks as well.I do not recommend purchasing this at all.

Got this because the pool I got was missing it from the manufacture. I tried going through the manufacturer to get it but they kept giving me the runaround to cover it under their warranty for missing parts. Went through that process multiple times. I found it here on Amazon and had it in a couple days. If I would have bought it from intex it was gonna be like 10 before shipping and then have to wait about 2 weeks and they wanted 10 for regular shipping or like 20 for over night. Definitely went the smart and and got it here on Amazon and save a butt load of money.

Top photo is OG intex, bottom photo is what was received, cheap aftermarket garbage. Leaks from threads. You can see the"intex brand" threads are sharp and clean. The aftermarket part are round and not clean edges, thus why it leaks. Buy brand name. Sending this back asap!

I usually do not care much about reviews, but I should have listened: Do NOT purchase this product, absolutely worthless! Does not screw in tight and once the pump is out water will spill out as if you don't have this valve installed at all.
