Trying a different style this time. So far it's doing great! This is my 2nd batch of eggs in this incubator. May be buying another.

This incubator seems a bit small for 12 chicken eggs to be hatching. I do love the big clear dome, giving the chicks a little extra headroom compared to some. I recommend purchasing a set of small hygrometer thermometers to keep 1 on each side of the incubator. Personally, I had best luck with dry incubation and high humidty in the last few days (hatched bantams).While overall this is a small incubator, I still had a strong success rate, 11 of the 12 eggs hatched. The 12th egg was older and had been in a refrigerator prior to incubating so I think it was an egg quality issue, even though the egg still developed right until lockdown. Since I use a dry hatch method, I did still have to use a syringe to manually add distilled water (less than 1ml) at a time to bring the humidity up around 15% a few times per day. This is while hatching in a dry winter. Summer and other locations may affect this. This only fit 12 bantam eggs. When I tried to add a few in the center and figured I could manually turn them, they got jammed and cracked when the tray would spin. When the chicks hatched the very center gave barely any clearance. I also put shelf liner inside at lockdown after the spin tray was removed, to make it safer for the chicks. Overall, I am very pleased with my success with this incubator, but humidity does need to be monitored at lockdown as well. I attached the tubing and bottle at hour 0 of day 18 and while the humidity shot up to 75% it dropped really low overnight, other than that I didn't have a problem when closely monitored.

I bought this incubator back in August of 2023. It was our first time attempting to incubate eggs. Out of the 12 we started with, 9 made it all the way to hatch. I incubated another 12 two weeks ago, knowing there was a chance a few might not have been fertilized. After a week, I was able to remove 5 that had not been fertilized, and have 7 still running strong. They have less than a week left before they begin hatching. If you are new, this is a decent product for the price. If you are expecting a 100% success rate, you will be disappointed. I feel that incubating eggs will never be 100%, so if you expect less than 50%, you should be happy with the results. As long as you follow the instructions, it's not rocket science. I'm happy with it, and now looking to upgrade to a larger quantity incubator after the learning curve of this one.

You put your eggs in the incubator, put the lid on it and forget about it. It rotates every four hours, the only thing you have to make sure of is you keep your bottle full of water. It’s awesome.

The media could not be loaded.  This was missing parts but not parts that were crucial so I tried. You have to manually empty the bottle into the incubator. It does not stay latched at all.auto turn failed at day 18, I did troubleshoot. Needed painters tape and towels to keep humidity during lockdown, digital malfunction day 19. Did have a good yield but required a lot of resourcefulness that shouldn’t have been required with this model, unsure if o had a defective item or if the machine itself just isn’t great. With the issues I had I wouldn’t suggest for first time hatching

This light is super cool. Can be used for several different things.
