PVC TrimWelder Nail Eraser PVC Grade Eraser Wax Crayon, Fill in Nail Holes up to 1/8 of an Inch, Use on Unpainted PVC Trim, Scrub and Wipe into Nail Hole

I am installing PVC door, window, and floor trim in a renovation house and this stuff is the cat's meow. I am using 16ga brad nails in an air nailer and after installing the trim I just go over each of the nail holes with this white crayon and it fills each hole with a few rubs. You can leave it like it is or clean the excess with a cloth or with a little solvent such as Brakleen. Matches the PVC trim from the box stores perfectly. You really can't see any of the nail holes from just a little bit away. I wish I had known about this product when I did the PVC trim in my own house as I used exterior patching compound or caulk and those products didn't always match the color and you can still tell where the nail holes are.Note that if you are going to paint your PVC trim then this is not what you want. The whole point of white PVC trim is that you don't have to paint it so use this when your not going to paint your trim.For larger holes such as in my exterior window trim I used the Cortex hidden fastening system with the little white hole plugs. This product however is great for the smaller holes and even patches little imperfections or nicks in your trim.

Worked well for set nail holes in unpainted composite brick molding.. Took about 5 minutes to fill all the holes without the mess of caulk..

This thing is amazing. I installed white PVC trim throughout my house. I used these to fill/hide the nail holes and it works perfectly. It’s hard to get caulk to look perfect and not show a little divot. This stuff is undetectable and doesn’t require much effort.

I bought this for my husband for filling the holes on our pvc exterior trim and portico. It did break when he first used it but worked great. Looks very professional as you really do not notice any nail holes. Very easy to use.

It wasn’t easy to putty nail holes. Not worth the money or time.

Product is harder than expected. It makes application a little difficult. Will wait for warmer days and hope it goes on easier. ??
