LiftMaster 855lm Homelink Repeater Kit

Q: Can one of these units independently control two garage doors? The manual doesn't mention that at all.

Yes. I have a 2014 GMC Acadia, a 2006 GMC Envoy, and two Liftmaster 8355W garage door openers. One bridge is all I needed. Just keep repeating the programming instructions until all the buttons are completed. I only had to program each vehicle button once and then all four buttons worked.

Q: I have a new Homelink Repeater. Why does the LED constantly flash and transmit causing same LED flashing on motorhead when it should be 100% idle?

Repeater is the link from car to door opener, they communicate constantly. Codes are always changing so someone doesn't steal your opener code.

Q: Does this have to be in a specific location within the garage?

I’m not sure if that’s a requirement, but I have mine plugged into the same outlet as the garage door opener and it works great. It would definitely be a safer bet to plug it in closer rather than not.
