Advised to buy the repair kit. Did that 1st, but it didn’t work. Bought the new unit next and haven’t had any problems

Works well, pump running smoothly again.

I work on alternative waste water systems and many of them have linear air pumps. This kit enables me to rebuild the air pump and save the customer the cost of a new one. Most HiBlow pumps can be rebuilt at least twice during their lifetime and that is why I bought this kit. It is about half of what other vendors are selling them for.

My pump is used for aeration on my septic system. Original unit lasted just over 12 years! This rebuild kit is an exact replacement for the main components of the pump internals. One membrane will usually tear, then the safety screw will break to protect the other bladder and internal components. Easy rebuild, with videos available on YouTube. My septic repair technician suggested I buy this rebuild system myself and have it on hand if my motor fails...guess what, a month later the membrane ruptured and I had already purchased this kit. Changed it myself and saved about $400 on labour and parts if he did it. And since this kit essentially changes all the moving parts in the pump, it should last another few years. Highly recommended.
