Great Ice Maker and Great Customer service!
I was a little hesitant to purchase this ice maker as it is a lot of money and not a well known brand to me. Decided to take the plunge as it was less expensive than the name brands and the reviews were great. So glad we did as the ice maker has been working phenomenally! I like that we can adjust the ice thickness, and it cranks out the ice! We did run into an issue recently that the ice wasn't falling from the tray and created a large block of solid ice. I immediately thought we were going to need parts or a new ice maker and contacted the Customer Service. Their response was immediate via email with instruction to resolve the issue, which worked and was as simple as cleaning the maker and letting it rest for 2 hours. Worked like a charm, and they continue to follow up to ensure that we aren't having any further issues. Impressed is an understatement. Don't hesitate to purchase!

Do not recommend
Installed October 2024 in our kitchen island to replace a previous icemaker we had for 10 yrs. April 5th, noticed ice was low. The next day, our hardwood floor in the kitchen was warped and destroyed. Called plumber to find the pump was full of water and needed to be replaced after 5 months use.

Very pleasantly surprised
I replaced a much more expensive KitchenAid ice maker and I am actually happier with this one! While the KitchenAid produced clearer ice, this one is faster and looks sturdier. I have had two KitchenAid ice machines over the years. Each failed and had to be repaired several times before ultimately being replaced. That's adds up to a lot of money. Even if this machine lasted only as long as the KitchenAid, at least it will be only about a third of the cost to replace.

Good but needs improvement
The media could not be loaded. As you can see in the video, I have attached a scooper from another ice maker to the door. The icemaker was provided with a scoop that you simply let it get buried in the ice bucket? The handle that comes with it does not match in color, looks too bulky and it is also unnecessary. Therefore, I did not install it. It’s easy to open and close the door without that big bulky handle. In fact if I had to install a handle I would place it horizontally on the top of the door.Regarding the ice cube size and clarity. The clarity of the ice depends on your water. The ice comes out very nice however, it is falling in chunks of ice grids. You will have to break them down. It is not difficult. however, if you choose a thick ice setting, the ice cubes would not come apart easily. For indoor use, this icemaker is a little noisy. They literally use three high-speed computer fans to cool the compressor , which I believe with a small investment they could use quieter fans.I have read about complaints about leaks in other reviews therefore, I took the approach of contacting the seller to explain the cause for those leaks before I make a purchase. The seller explained that the outgoing hose connecting to the drain cannot be higher than 60 cm from the floor the pump is not strong enough to push water up higher, I followed his advice and everything works fine. I also want to point out that I used metal clamps going out of the unit and into the drain. Do not take any chances. I believe that some did not use metal clamps at the bottom of the unit drain because it seem tighten enough or a clamp was actually not provided , I would urge the seller to provide clamps and clearer instructions.I can summarize that the icemaker as it is presents a good value as long as it would last for a few years. time will tell so far I owned it for two months. I can also predict that getting replacements parts will be almost impossible

Very please at half the cost.
We have a large home that we own/rent for family vacations through VRBO. The ice machine is a key component of summer rentals. Our icemaker went out less than 30 days before the start of our prime rental season. To replace the existing icemaker with what I will call a conventional undercounter machine was going to be an expensive proposition. I spent a great deal of time researching our options. I looked at a large variety of ice makers on Amazon. Carefully read their descriptions and reviews. When I narrowed the field I went to You Tube and viewed all I could about the particular makes and models etc.I have an extended warranty on purchases with my credit card and didn't see a warranty listed in the description for the Euhomy. I reached out to Euhomy support and got a response that was immediate taking into consideration the difference in time zone. I contacted support before and after purchase regarding warranty and registration of purchase. Both times response was very timely. We have installed the Euhomy icemaker and it has been in use now for 60 days. The house has been rented continually during this time and there has been no "ice" issues. We had a large group of family and friends in the home for 4 or 5 days in July. The machine makes ice extraordinarily fast. The machine is not whisper quiet. My wife was very concerned initially as our floor plan is very open and the ice maker is located in the kitchen island which is central to a large, tall open great room on our main floor.I should point out that (2) expensive ice makers we have had previously were not by any means quiet. They make a variety of noises almost continually but noise was still a concern. What we have found is that the Euhomy works very fast and has a large storage capacity. Even with heavy use the storage bin fills quickly and once satisfied the machine cuts off. All ice makers that we have had do not have refrigerated storage so the stored ice is always in the process of melting. With our previous machines this was a very frequent source of noise (water trickling through the drain pipe). The Euhomy machine has a reservoir and pump for this drainage. I have yet to hear it distinctly. In short we are very pleased at half the cost or less of other machines we have owned and the noise in reality is no more if not less that the other machines.
