Excellent for labeling plants and veg/fruits in the garden. They're good quality, quite heavy, and I found a liquid chalk pen means you can clearly and easily write on them. Had no problem wiping off the writing with a damp j cloth when I made any mistakes. Should think it will be almost as easy when the writings been on there for a while.

Used for marking and name tagging plants on soil or pots. Substantial size slate markers, reasonably smooth. Of a size not to get lost in the border.

Lovely slate labels, very large and quite heavy, I used my own chalk pen as was using them outside so needed them to be waterproof. They look very smart and I'm very pleased with them.

These are part of a gardening present. They are sturdy and exactly what I expected. I cannot comment on their longevity as they are brand new

I use these at the allotment for labelling tomatoes and pepper varieties. I use them with a set of chalk pens with different colours.Handy and easy to resuse year after year.This is my second set after first was bought for me as a gift.

These have been in pots in my garden throughout sun, rain and gale force winds and are still standing and the plant names that I wrote in chalk pen rather than the chalk provided are still visible.

Packaging could use some work. The box arrived in a shipping bag which helped protect the stakes from breaking. But ultimately the stakes are too heavy to be properly seeled in the box they came in because when I lifted the box out of the bag it was empty and the top was torn clean off. I was worried that the stakes, sitting in the bottom of the bag, would be damaged but they were not. I highly recommend taping the top and bottom of the box with packing tape instead of the little piece of circle tape to prevent this from happening again.It comes with a pice of regular chalk which is great but I opted to use liquid chalk markers as they last longer and are a bit harder to wash off. Overall they are a great size, easy to use, and I will be getting more in the future. Best part about these is that they are stone so I know they will hold up and last a very long time

Son justo lo que se anuncia: unas placas de pizarra que se pueden usar para muchas cosas. En mi caso, para marcar en un jardín donde se encuentra un tubo enterrado. Cumplen perfectamente su función. Todas llegaron en perfecto estado, muy bien embaladas. ¡Ah! y vienen con una tiza blanca para escribir en ellas. Recomendable.

These markers are of natural slate and so vary in thickness and have a few chips (insignificant) here and there as slate is a layered stone. Would be nice if the S v M had something meaningful attached. I have 3 sets of the M. They measure just shy of 8” tall and are 1 1/16” wide. The thickest of them are 1/4”. There is a piece of chalk in its own little box and bundled with the slates. The chalk and little cord make these suitable for gift giving. The bundle was wrapped in bubble wrap and it is all in a neat brown box with a labeled band. I cannot speak to durability since they are not yet in use. Of course, chalk will wash off in the rain, so these are due to be painted this winter for use in the coming years. I have had some slate labels for more than a dozen years, and they were my mom’s before that. I hope these have the same staying power. Those are intact and the paint looks like new. The trick is not to drop them. Fingers crossed.
