Glad I bought this!
I have long hair and glad I bought this to keep the hair out of my shower drain! Works great! It does slide around a bit over the drain.

Suction cups don't work.
We have an old tub (at least 30 years old, average normal bathtub) I thought maybe the suction cups would be okay as it's not a textured surface, but nope. They don't stick. It does pretty much stay put, though. I thought it might float around, but it stays over the drain most of the time, so it does catch hair. So.. it works.. mostly.. just wish it would stick.

Waste of Money
Do not waste your money this doesn’t catch any hair the diagonal lines do not add any extra filtration. When you lift up the cover you will see hair going through the slits. Looks nice doesn’t work.
