Beginner friendly?
This is my first- and after my experience, maybe my last drone. I really wanted this to take with me on my camping trips, but I couldn't get it to operate correctly- but thankfully I haven't crashed it. The camera quality is mediocre, which sucks since that's the main reason I got it. Back to the operation, I asked my buddy who owns 2 drones and operates them regularly to try mine on a recent trip, and even he was having trouble working it. To me, that said it all. I couldn't recommend this, especially if you're a beginner.

Great drone
Like this drone , bought for my 10 year old nephew, he loves it, easy to fly, just right for him

Not very stable
While using flying it, I turned on GPS return and it took off out of control in the wrong direction. It eventually crashed into the tree line and remains there to this day. It's flight controls are not accurate at all.

4DRC drone with camera quadcopter for beginners--with a little technical knowledge
4DRC 4DF1 GPS 4K FPV Drone with Camera for Adults, 5G WiFi FPV RC Quadcopter Beginners, with Auto Return Home, Altitude Hold and Follow Me, 2 Batteries, 30 Mins Long Flight,BlackOkay, I stepped up to a more expensive drone quadcopter as I am not only a beginner, but a senior with little technological experience and hoped this would be simple enough for me. I'm jazzed about getting it to fly and have been working on the instructions, which I have to say are at a beginner level stage with the exception of terminology for buttons I can't find. For me, a steep learning curve but each time I've turned it on, learn something new. No where in the directions does it show how to attach the cell device to the remote control. I did figure that out and this time I got it paired AND was at the point where instructions were to do a simple lift-off and return. Stuck at that point. Since I've been messing with it in my living room, I wondered if that might be the problem as I thought I had horizontal and vertical calibrations set. Still nothing. Also, it says it (remote control) requires two AAA batteries, but the remote control actually requires four. I'll keep trying and will update this when I can post a picture from the drone.Edit 7/10--Sad to say, I turned this over to my daughter-in-law who spent a large number of hours on it. She did get it to pair. Unfortunately, each attempt to fly it resulted in a crazy lift off--veer to left and crash. She lost one impeller in a crash and replaced it but still any attempt to fly the copter resulted in a crazy lift off, no ability to settle it down or maneuver it. Eventually, she discovered an impeller (not the one she replaced) was not actually working but only moving from the force of the other three. It appears a failure of original construction and the machine will not ever fly under control. Granted--a one off--but I'm disappointed.

try it immediately when you buy it.
I bought it, waited too long to try it out - it doesn't work. Past the return window.

Complicated drone
I have a significant RC collection including several other small drones. I am not an expert but consider myself a moderately competent operator. I was expecting an easy to use but fairly high tech drone. I am sorry that I didn't read any of the reviews before I ordered this because I have experienced similar issues to what others have described. I was not able to get the drone to work for me. The instructions are very complicated and printed in a little booklet that I cannot even read without a magnifying glass. I powered up the drone and tried to turn on the remote to pair the two devices. The remote would not turn on. In the instruction booklet it seems to say that you have to have the drone app on you phone before you can pair to the remote. This is the only drone I have ever had that could not be flown right out of the box without needing to have an app running on your phone. At this point I gave up.

Good for beginners
This is a nice drone for beginners because it covers the basics and is not too costly. It takes a while to work out the trim but once it's running its a lot of fun. It comes with 2 batteries which is great because it runs out quickly. Overall the drone is a lot of fun to learn to fly and it's a great way to get into flying drones and getting aerial photos and videos.
