NC weather is great to spend time outdoors hiking, fishing or just working in the yard. My biggest issue has always been having to deal with all the SKEETERS (local name for Merskeeters/Mosquitos...) as they are especially attracted to me. I use all types of bug deterrents but am no fan of putting chemicals on my skin or smelling like the lemon lime section of the local Walmart. That's why I decided to give this product a try.It arrived promptly and was surprised at the quality of the packaging and product. Upon inspection, I saw it had the CE certification from Europe which is already a guarantee that this is legit and not some cheap chinese knock off. The band is hypoallergenic, fits great and simple to wear. Haven't had a skin rash reaction on my skin for sweat or anything even having worn it while fishing, hiking and excercising which is a great add on for me. Operation is straight forward with only one button to activate to its 2 settings and off button.But... does it work? Yes it does! It lets out a bearly audible humm that seems to annoy skeeters and they don't seem to care being around me. I'd say it is about 95% efective (guess some skeeters must be deaf!) but I think I have possibly been bitten twice since I got this product. I have already ordered 3 more for the wife and kids. Must say though, I don't think it is waterproof so I have been careful not to put it into the water when fishing. I believe that electronics don't mix well with water...Give it a try... what do you have to loose other than being bitten by skeeters!!

The media could not be loaded.  I got it , i followed the instructions doesn’t turn on, i cannot see by the led and also , some review talked about nois but no nise, i assume is not working, i did the impossible to get it here in my trip and doesn’t work ! I need a replacement !

Been using my device for a couple months now. I had always wanted to try one of these. They seem to mostly work, I'm rarely bit when using this product. That being said, the slightest pressure on your device can shut it off. You'll know it's off because you'll feel the bites immediately. Secondly it does emit a high pitched sound, if you're not deaf you will hear it. I had to get used to this, but it's simply how the device works. Overall if you're trying avoid skeeters and don't want to deal with sticky/smelly sprays this is it. If you don't want to be bitten at all but 2 and have them both activated. I've had my device shut off more when I wear it on my wrist, so I leave it in my pocket usually and it works fine. (I leave the bright colored band on to easily find it if it drops out of my pocket. All in all it mostly works most of the time, I'm satisfied and no longer using sprays.

I have used ultrasonic mosquito repellers like this one, which mimics the sound of a male mosquito to keep the biting females away, for many years now.In all the years I have kept one of these devices whining away on my nightstand while I sleep, I have NEVER been bitten by a mosquito!So when the last of my Sunbeam ultrasonic repellers started having a problem with its transducer, I looked high and far (well, Yahoo Search and here at Amazon) for a replacement.The first two devices I tried were junk. Neither one gave off the male mosquito sound, which despite the "ultrasonic" label is audible as a high-pitched whine. Back these pretenders went.Then I came upon this one, which has a five-year warranty and is supposedly the category originator.Eureka! It works like a champ, emitting the sound I was expecting in one's choice of two volumes, the loud being louder than the Sunbeam.The little device has a clip on the back that you can attach to a belt or pocket. Or you can put the gizmo in the silicone bracelet provided and wear it like a watch.My only concern was the repeller's use of a CR-2032 button battery instead of the AAA the Sunbeam took.Generally I like to use rechargeable batteries for a gadget like this, but I couldn't find a rechargeable CR-2032 with the right voltage (3v) or as much amperage for extended use.So I'll see how long these non-rechargeable CR-2032's last in this repeller. Each battery costs around 50 cents at Amazon. If each one lasts a few months, that's not a high price to pay for freedom from mosquito bites. And ultrasonic repellers like this don't use smelly repellent chemicals you have to refill all the time...In conclusion, two (bite-free) thumbs up for this ultrasonic repeller!

The first one Amazon sent me stopped working after a few days. Amazon replaced it immediately which was great.The instructions to assemble weren’t as clear so it took me a little while to assemble. The head (the white circle) pops off a few times a week. Luckily I’ve found it every time but I’m concerned that there will be a time I don’t notice it’s popped off. The band to close the bracelet is faulty. It pops open also a few times a week. The product itself does reduce the number of mosquito bites. I receive about 80% less bites. I do still get bit but not as much as when I don’t wear it. This product works for mosquitos and NOT flies or gnats.

I like the design, but when you turn it on, it’s a high-pitched sound even if I tie it on my ankle farthest away from my ear. It’s just a piercing high little sound even though it’s not like a car alarm but golly gosh I don’t wanna hear that while I’m trying to hike and have a nice time, maybe it works maybe it doesn’t I’ll never know because I’m not wearing that out in the woods when I’m trying to enjoy myself, lol

Me encanta el diseño y la textura , no pesa mucho es muy cómodo al usarlo e imperceptible para mi niño, es similar a un vape que enchufo a la pared pero este es como reloj.Buena calidad!

Pues si sirve, hasta ahora ni un mosco me a picado, llevo dos semanas usandolo, y estoy a salvo. aunque el sonido si lo percibes y lo traes todo el diaaaaaa, es un beeeeeeeee en los oidos todo el tiempo, preferi cambiarlo al tobillo para no percibirlo porque si lo traes en la muneca te duele hasta la cabeza de escuchar el ruidito todo el tiempo.

NO ME GUSTO EL COLOR, ME GUSTARIA QUE HUBIERA SIDO EN COLOR NEGRO

No sirve para nada,no ahuyenta a los moscos.
