MRM160 Red Dot - Shake Awake 2MOA Mini Red Dot with Long Battery Life

Brought it to the range and it broke on the first shot ! Waste of money . Looks good until you have to use it thank God it wasn't an emergency situation .

I've used this on my Glock 34 for a decent while now it's a great micro red dot. adjustable screws for zeroing your sight, and the dot turns off when the gun is set down, preserving battery life, you will occasionally need to change the battery (it's not a holosun after all) but if you keep an extra coin battery in your pocket/gun case it wont be a problem

Got the first one glass broke on the fifth shot. Got a replacement thinking it may be a defected one got the replacement in and the glass broke this time on the first shot! Def not made well this was shooting out of a TX22! It this happened on a low caliber it def can’t work on your basic 9mm.

Don't drop your weapon… also, don't hand your weapon to a buddy to show off your new red dot sight when that buddy will drop your weapon.The purpose of the metal frame on top of the optic glass is to protect the fragile glass… which is now chipped. So in an ideal situation where you use instead of hand off your weapon, you should be good to go.Other than this design issue I have, honestly I loved this for the month I had it installed. It took a bit to train myself to fast acquire that red dot, but after that it was a joy to shoot with. Good accuracy and stability, boresighting it regularly to make sure it wasn't wandering showed that it stayed true.But we all have that one friend who thinks they're John Wayne. They should never have a weapon, they'll shoot their eye out.

Broke first use wouldn’t recommend unless you using it for air soft or something didn’t even last one magazine disappointed to say the least

For what you pay, sub $100, this is a good optic. Full disclosure I've only used this on a Ruger 10/22 so I don't know how well it would do with harder recoil like a 9mm or even a 5.56 round. For what I have for it held zero pretty good. Super easy to dial in, install and use. It's really a pretty good unit. I only gave it 4 stars because the design of the unit has the glass open at the top which is a bit concerning for me, one serious drop or hit and that glass is going to be compromised. Outside of that you get a lot for what you would pay for this unit. Good micro red dot if you're on a budget.
