I've waited a year before reviewing this umbrella. It is very good indeed.

Large umbrella that blocks the sun, keeps me protected from the sun and rain. Sturdy frame. I don't mind it being heavy because it is after all a big umbrella, good quality, thick fabric that does the job.It isn't heat proof so you will still feel the heat of the sun standing under the umbrella, which I didn't expect.p.s. I have not tried it in windy conditions yet so no comment re: windproof.

Bought this for my wife last year after during a hot spell so she could get UV protection whilst playing golf. All seemed fine, she does not use it in the winter months but has started using it again now since the Covid19 lockdown has been eased allowing her to play again. First outing in the rain and we noticed it was leaking. Upon inspection we found that two of the folds where the material creases inwards near the centre spindle had actually cracked and were leaving holes for the water to penetrate, This umbrella has had little use and in fact this was the first time used in rain. Not a happy wife.

This umbrella is plenty big enough for two people. Have not had a strong wind to try it out but It is constructed to allow the wind to pass through it without turning it inside out and I therefore see no reason why it should not work. Service was prompt.

Very good quality umbrella, comes with a nice holster. Sadly the holster is nowhere near as sturdy as the umbrella.

Not too heavy, UV protection. Ideal for rugged beach use

I use it for golfing, it's quite good.
