Dont let the bag full you. This one is probably not as advertised in volume specified and is probably 1/2-3/4 quart short of the 2 quart volume although i did not measure. If you looking to do more than 2 plants you’ll need a few bags depending on bulb size . This is good perlite though

Great value if you make your own seed starting mix. The product does have a fair amount of dust in the bag and a little dusty when scooping out small amounts at a time. However, the seller made sure to speak about this and to use in a well-ventilated area. The dust doesn’t bother me as I am very happy with the quality of the product, particle size, and how easy it is to mix into small or large batches.

Small but works

looks good but too small pieaces.

Very chalky and dusty, with extremely small pieces of perlite. There’s a large amount of powder and sand, even before rinsing, which means you wash away most of the product before use. You’re much better off buying a larger bag of chunkier perlite rather than this small 2 qt bag, which is only slightly bigger than sandwich sized bag. I’ve used perlite for plant propagation many times, and this one noticeably slowed root development. It doesn’t provide the same airflow and drainage that coarser perlite typically does, which makes a big difference when you’re trying to encourage healthy root growth. Overall, I wouldn’t purchase this again and would recommend going with a larger, coarse-grade perlite for better results.

Great product

Just used to make homemade batch of potting soil. Perfect blend and really will help with moisture. Huge bag and pieces are great size for seedling start. Use mask as dust was present. Soil quality is light and fluffy and easy to use
