Pricey. But everything costs more these days. This is noticeably lighter than other suitcases of this size, including our 25" Victorinox Mobilizer bags. Seems very well made after a round trip of checked baggage carrying 42 pounds. Very well thought out design; no suitor capability, but that saves weight and allows more packing volume inside. The wheels are terrific in general, but it may be hard to push one-handed on some carpet; you have the option of tilting it onto 2 wheels in this case and then it pulls easily on carpet. The handle grip seems durable as does the pull out slide mechanism. There is a handle at the bottom of the bag where the wheels are to allow you to lift it flat onto a bed or stand to open the main compartment; this handle is a slash opening in the material so is not easily visible without looking for it. I think everyone in the family wants to use this bag from now on. The amazon listing seems incorrect about the dimensions: the 74 liter bag is: Height: 26.8 in, Length: 11.8 in, Width: 17.7 in, Weight: 9.5 lb according to the Victorinox web page. I initially bought the Platinum Elite 25" suitcase from a company with TP in the name, but immediately returned it upon seeing the quality of the build, zippers and other materials.
