Not quite, almost!!
I am going to get specific in this review in the hope that someone is helped by knowing what vehicle (1997 Chevrolet S-10 Blazer Four door, four wheel drive) & state (North Carolina) placard this was tested in. So I hope this helps someone! In 2011, I bought my new placard at DMV for the next five year term. To my disbelief, the "Great State of North Carolina" stupidly & very cheaply had replaced the flexible plastic placards with a cheap paper style. Cardboard would be an *excellent* alternative compared to this paper. After this little gem was issued, I returned to the car & attempted to try & place this new placard into my old holder, and to say the least, this placard did *not* fit inside my old plexiglass holder. The top of the placard stuck out, slid out the sides, etc.Just a little over one year since issuance & it is in horrible shape! This placard is supposed to last me through 2016 March! Ummm.... NO.(I hope at replacement time in 2016, "The great state of North Carolina" [sarcasm] issues us something for a handicap placard that will last & look decent for more than a week.)The plexiglass placard holder had melted into new shape(s)due to heat in the car & the placard's condition began further deteriorate due to not fitting into the holder, so I decided it was time to shop for a new handicap placard protector. At the beginning of my product research for the placard protector, I measured the placard and quickly zeroed in on this type of product.I was much more interested in buying the gold version of this product, sadly it is not long enough for my placard. Seeing this was stated as 10 inches long & my placard measured at 9.8 inches long & 3.75 inches wide, I chose the silver. The choice of the seller, JL Safety was a total *no brainer*. Their reviews are exceptionally compelling.I ordered on Saturday 12 May 2012 & paid for regular shipping. On Wednesday 16 May 2012, the product arrived in a puffy envelope with additional bubble wrap around the holders. Nice & securely wrapped!I rounded up the holders & went out to the car. There was more difficulty installing the hook due to the lights, etc. Chevrolet felt it was important to put the lights and goodies into the rear view mirror of the 1997 S-10 Blazer four door during manufacture of the vehicle.Next I attempted to inserted the placard into the sleeve. With sadness & dismay, I realized there is nothing I can do to make this placard fit in the sleeve!I am disappointed. This a high quality design & I *REALLY* need something strong to hold this piece of crud, state issued placard together!I did find the magnet was not as strong as I anticipated. The magnet does not have that strong of a magnetic pull or bond. When assembling the unit for display, the placard & plastic case easily drops or disappears from the rearview mirror and down into the floor board or console area.On the occassions I use a handicap space & need to display the placard, I will have to be alert the placard does not detach & fall to the floor on accident.I can easily imagine a worse case scenario of my placard falling out of sight.....Were a police officer to see my vehicle in a handicap spot & the placard not spotted, my handicap placard not on clear display. If the officer looked around and did not see my placard had fallen off the rearview mirror into an area where it cannot be spotted....In my state, parking in a handicap space without a placard can earn a fine of $250.00!!So I will have to check carefully & make sure the placard stays around the rear view mirror. My final thoughts. I give the design & idea a 4* rating. (if it were JUST a bit longer!)I give the seller 5* for the quick shipping and nice presentation.I just wish it would have worked out for me better.I would buy from this seller again & I intend to try & watch to see if J L Safety designs a longer handicap placard protector that will fit my NC placard.Hopefully it will also have a stronger magnet too!!!.

Easy
I really like these card holders. I really wish more people would use them. Because it is printed on the handi cap card remove before driving. These holder make it very easy to remove before driving.

Best tag holder
So much better than the other choices. Protects the tag with a sturdy holder. Easily attatches by magnet, as hanger stays on the rear view mirror. Some vehicles don't the type on mirror mount this will work on, though.

Great holder. Magnet strength holds up and holder does not warp in high heat.
Great holder. Magnet strength holds up and holder does not warp in high heat.Bought this as a replacement for my father's standard plastic hook holder in which the hook was breaking off. It seemed to make sense to get this type of holder both because there wouldn't be as much stress/wear and tear on the hook part and it should be easier to take on and off with the magnet effect. This turned out to be the case. The magnet gimmick was just the right trick. The magnet is definitely strong enough to remain intact through out hanging on the hook for several hours to overnight. This includes in high heat and strong direct sunlight.Likewise after using it for several weeks in high heat (100+ temp and probably more like 120 - 130 in car) and strong direct sunlight, the plastic did not warp or shrink. This was, however, with some factory window tinting, but not dark.My father really likes it and especially for the ease of putting it up and taking it off. After we practiced together we found the best way to keep it on without fail was to make sure to grab the magnet with as much surface for both pieces as possible. Then a simple light twist and tug separates the pieces easily without struggle. My father especially likes this because he doesn't have to tussle with getting the hook on/off of the rear mirror stem. He liked it so much he gave the spare (there's two in a pack) to his girlfriend. And she's found the holder to be of the same benefit. So for the value as almost a two for one product it's well worth the cost for the quality and ease of use.Product is top notch after a couple of months of use and seller delivered on time and as described. Good transaction.

GET ONE,...NO, GET TWO!
Not only helps the hang tag from getting soiled, it helps prevent the tag from warping. Since the tag hangs with the aid of a magnet it is unlikely it will fall after being placed under the rear-view mirror. Very easy to put up and pull down. No hassle with trying to hang the tag around the mirror bracket. A must for those of us that have a disabled parking permit .
