Adjustable DC Regulated Linear Bench Power Supply 0-18V 0-2A

Great power supply. I have it as a dedicated power supply for a driving a 10W CREE XM-L2 LED. This is to supply the light for an old Olympus CH microscope. The constant current mode works great for driving a high lower LED. I think much better than using a home built circuit. The power supply looks great and is also quite compact. It makes a very small hum but it is not annoying at all.

Very noisy; but it has been keeping up a circuit since I bought it, and it seems very accurate in the voltage you choose.

The display and resulting output are both accurate. Very stable. Good to look at and with the back-lit display usable - as I do - in the dark.Is very good. I like it. I do have an issue with the 'manual' and the current limitation aspect. I don't understand what is going on when I turn down the knob on the current, as suddenly the voltage display shows -0.47 and I don't know what I'm looking at in the current display.So yes, great for variable voltage but the documentation really could do with some clarification regarding the display and current regulation.

Great little power supply at a great price. My only criticisms are that there is a little bit of audible mains hum and the voltage control is quite coarse, sometimes hard to finely adjust the voltage. But given the price these are very minor quibbles and I am delighted with it.

The Item was packaged securely. After playing around with it for a little while, it is just as I expected, the dials are a bit coarse, but for me that is not a problem. The LED displays are bright and clear and the current limiting feature is handy. Its cheap and does the job well. Comes with a pair of banana-to-crocodile clip leads.

Seems to do the job. Only complaint is it smells strongly of moth balls and this smell hasn't decreased since I got it several weeks ago!

It works as expected, the current limiting circuit woirks fine, it's quite fiddly to get the exact voltage you want but 0.04V either way isn't going to make a lot of different to the circuits you are likely to use this for.
