Seiko5 Sports SKX ‘Midi’ Automatic Watch with Black Dial and Silver Bracelet SRPK29K1

I fancied a "divers" watch and had spent a lot if time wavering between 2 extremes of budget and luxury, but one requirement was that it was a proper mechanical chronograph - so not a quartz. In the end I had decided on spending around £500 but found this Seiko 5 at around 1/2 the price I was prepared to pay. What also swung it is that at ~41mm it's several mm smaller than typical divers watches I had tried some others in various shops and for me anything bigger than ~43mm was a lot bigger than I wanted.I also have another Seiko around 10 years old that has been an excellent watch as well.I got the watch, gave it a few manual turns of the winder, set the time and date and basically have just worn it non-stop since then.Time keeping is excellent - I adjust it by a few minutes at most around once a weekI have been swimming in the Med this autumn with it and no issues. There are no scratches anywhere on the watch Strap, case or face which is a real credit to the materialsSo far (about 4 months after purchase) I am still very pleased with itOnly slight downside was that the Seiko box was "quality" - I felt I had bought a quality product, but the packaging from the seller was a scrappy cardboard box in a plastic bag. Whilst this did not impact the watch I felt that the purchase "experience" (it was quite a lot of money) was compromised by the initial product appearance

I recently bought this watch but sold it on. It looks great, is good quality, lume is impressive and accuracy is decent. But I couldn't get past the small dial - which is less than 30mm, a smaller dial than my 34mm dress watch. I wasn't keen on the look of such a small dial and it makes it a little less legible. A 40mm version of this watch, however, would be perfect.
